Marvel Contest of Champions is already available on PC through Steam. Its listed release date was June 18, 2025, so the “set for 2025” framing is out of date. Here’s what the PC version offers, what you need to run it, and how to continue with an existing account.
When did Marvel Contest of Champions come out on PC?
The Steam version of Marvel Contest of Champions was released on June 18, 2025, and is available to play on PC. Steam lists the game as free to play, while also disclosing in-game purchases and chance-based in-game purchases. Those disclosures do not mean that a purchase is required to play.
There is no separate PC edition comparison to make in the available official listings: the PC release is the Steam version.
What does the PC version include?
Steam describes a fighting game built around 1v1 battles, story quests, events, alliances, and competitive modes. Its listing advertises a roster of over 300 Champions. These are descriptions from the game’s publisher and storefront, not independent gameplay findings.

The PC version supports mouse and keyboard as well as controllers, and Steam lists customizable bindings. A controller is optional; the listing does not require or endorse a particular model.
Can you continue your mobile account on PC?
Steam advertises cross-platform support and says progress can carry between mobile and PC. Kabam’s beta-period PC FAQ says players can sign in with their existing Kabam ID to continue using their account, and describes PC and mobile as crossplay compatible. The FAQ’s guidance is from the beta period, so consult Kabam’s current support information if you need help linking or recovering an account.

Kabam’s beta FAQ warns that using an emulator violates its Terms of Service and can result in an account ban, and advises players to use officially supported platforms. Because that warning comes from beta-period guidance, check Kabam’s current terms and support pages for the latest policy. With a native Steam version available, use the official PC release rather than relying on an emulator.
