MARVEL Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom launches on November 10, 2026, for Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The premium expansion adds Doctor Doom and The Invisible Woman as playable heroes and introduces a branching, run-based mode in Castle Doomstadt. Its temporary upgrades, route choices, changing encounters and permanent unlocks make “roguelike” or “roguelite” a useful description, although the developers officially call it an evolving run-based mode.

How does a Castle Doom run work?
- Choose a route through themed doors. Each door type changes the next encounter and the resources available to your team.
- Manage the two gauges. Doctor Doom’s Cosmic Inductor charges during the attempt. Defeats raise the Siege Gauge, while victories provide batteries that charge Reed Richards’ Stabilizer. A full Siege Gauge ends the run.
- Collect Battery Cells and perks. Challenges and encounters award resources used to build a hero for the current attempt.
- Adapt to events and hazards. Rules can change between arenas, so a build that succeeds in one room may be less effective in the next.
- Reach Doom before the deadline. Surviving enough encounters lets the team attempt the final confrontation instead of losing to the filled Siege Gauge.

The Invisible Woman adds defensive and control-oriented tools through force fields and light manipulation. Can I buy a physical copy for Switch?
Yes. Physical Standard and Deluxe editions of the base game were announced for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox, with a physical launch date of March 13, 2026. The Deluxe package includes a game copy, SteelBook case, poster, 15 art cards and sticker sheets.
