Marvel Rivals’ Competitive ladder has nine ranks, from Bronze to One Above All. A May 2026 guide describes the first seven ranks as three tiers each, with 100 points per tier; treat those details as a guide rather than a guarantee, and check the in-game interface for the live rules. The current Season 10.0 Gold-tier reward is Gorr the God Butcher’s Gods’ Graveyard costume. Season 10.5 is scheduled to begin October 9, 2026, with Jeff the Land Shark’s Razor-Tooth costume announced as its Gold-tier reward.
What are the ranks in Marvel Rivals?
The ladder, in ascending order, is:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
- Grandmaster
- Celestial
- Eternity
- One Above All
PCGamesN’s guide, updated May 8, 2026, says Bronze through Celestial have three tiers apiece and that each tier takes 100 ranked points. It describes Eternity and One Above All in terms of points and leaderboard status. The official Season 10 and 10.5 notes do not restate the full ladder mechanics, so use the game’s Competitive screen to confirm the current tier labels and progression rules. PCGamesN’s rank guide
How does Competitive progression work?
The available guide’s 100-point-per-tier figure is a useful orientation, not a current official rulebook. The official notes available for Season 10 and the announced Season 10.5 do not specify point gains or losses, placement procedures, or how progression changes at higher ranks. Check the in-game Competitive interface for your current score and any rules displayed there rather than assuming every rank follows an identical formula.
What seasonal skin reward can you earn?
Season 10.0 began September 11, 2026, at 09:00 UTC. Its official notes identify Gorr the God Butcher – Gods’ Graveyard as the Gold-tier costume reward. Marvel Rivals Season 10 patch notes

Season 10.5 is scheduled to start October 9, 2026, at 09:00 UTC. Its October 6 announcement names Jeff the Land Shark – Razor-Tooth as the Gold-tier costume reward. These are the rewards named in the official notes for their respective season halves. The announcements do not establish other eligibility requirements, such as a current placement-match rule, so check the live in-game event or Competitive screens for the terms that apply to you.

Can you queue with friends at a different rank?
The Season 10.5 announcement does not state party-size limits or allowable rank gaps. Those rules can affect whether a group can enter Competitive together, so confirm them in the live queue interface rather than relying on older season guidance.
Are placement matches and rank resets the same every season?
No fixed current procedure is established by the available Season 10.5 announcement. Season 5 notes historically described ten placement matches, a predicted rank during placements, and an actual rank after all ten; they also said players who did not finish placements would not receive that season’s rewards. A February 2025 developer diary also documented an earlier half-season policy in which players retained rank and score and completed ten Competitive matches to earn the new rewards. There is no official, current all-platform rank distribution established by the cited sources. PCGamesN reported May 2026 figures attributed to RivalsTracker for PC players only, including Bronze 3 at 17.28% and One Above All at 0.10%. For tournament viewing, the official Season 10 notes list IGNITE Stage 2 regular-season and playoff windows and direct players to the in-game Esports system for tournament details. Marvel Rivals’ 2026 Ignite announcement also describes the partner-team program and broadcast availability on YouTube and Twitch.
