The update added The Thing, Human Torch and the Convergence map Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park, alongside ranked changes, platform-specific features and gameplay fixes.
What Season 1.5 added
Two new heroes and a Convergence map
The update introduced The Thing and Human Torch, with costumes for both, and added Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park to the Convergence map rotation.
Match and seasonal additions
Overtime gained 0.5 seconds of grace time in all modes. The notes also describe a change to substitute matchmaking near the end of Quick Mode matches and improved match-start loading speed.
Season 1.5 included the Midnight Features II season event and the first Twitch Drops round, featuring the “Two-in-One” spray and Hela’s “Great Galaxy” emote. The notes anticipated a second Drops round around mid-season and mentioned a new costume reward, but they do not establish that these historical rewards remain available.
