What was the reported maintenance schedule?
India Today Gaming reported that Marvel Rivals servers would be offline from January 9 at 11:00 p.m. PST until January 10 at 1:10 a.m. PST. That would put the reported end of maintenance 10 minutes after the publisher-announced season launch time. The two times refer to different events: the start of Season 1 and the reported end of server maintenance.
| Time zone | Reported maintenance window |
|---|---|
| PST | January 9, 11:00 p.m.–January 10, 1:10 a.m. |
| EST | January 10, 2:00–4:10 a.m. |
| GMT | January 10, 7:00–9:10 a.m. |

| IST | January 10, 12:30–2:40 p.m. |
| JST | January 10, 4:00–6:10 p.m. |
These maintenance times, the expectation of just over two hours of downtime, and the possibility of an extension were reported by India Today Gaming. NetEase’s Season 1 announcement confirms the season start, but does not independently verify the maintenance schedule or extension caveat. Players following that reported window would have been unable to log in during maintenance.
