Marvel Rivals officially calls Rogue’s Savage Land-themed outfit Savage South. Reactions in the discussions available range from excitement about the look to complaints about its hair, headband, and boots—but those comments are examples of individual opinions, not a measure of what the player base overall thinks.
What is Rogue’s Savage Land skin called?
The official name is Rogue – Savage South Bundle. NetEase’s Version 20251212 Season 5.5 patch notes list it among the season’s event content. The costume listing at rivals.fan connects Savage South with the Savage Land, which is why players often refer to it as Rogue’s Savage Land skin.
What are players divided over?
In a December 9, 2025 reveal discussion, some commenters welcomed seeing Rogue in a Savage Land look. Others focused on how the costume handled specific details. One commenter wanted a hairstyle closer to the comics, while replies criticized the hair, headband, or boots. The disagreement is about the execution of the design, not simply whether players want the theme in the game.
A later October 1, 2026 discussion about Rogue’s best skin adds another individual reservation: one player said they had bought Savage South with a costume coin but preferred Rogue’s other looks. Other participants named alternatives they liked better. That shows the skin still drew comparisons in a later conversation, but does not establish a general trend.

Does “divides fans” mean most players are split?
No representative poll or reliable statistic measuring players’ opinions was identified. The Reddit discussions show that reactions vary among the people who commented; votes and comment counts indicate platform engagement, not how the wider Marvel Rivals community feels. It is more accurate to say the skin has visible supporters and critics than to claim that most players like or dislike it.
The official patch notes identify the bundle but do not give a design rationale, and there is no attributable comment from a developer or artist explaining the choices. The available reactions therefore support describing what players noticed, not claiming why the designers made those decisions.

When did Savage South release, and can you still get it?
The Season 5.5 patch notes place the bundle in the event content available until January 1, 2026, at 09:00 UTC. That is the original event window, not confirmation of its present shop status.
The third-party rivals.fan listing reports a price of 1,400 units and says Savage South is permanently available through the Cosmetics tab. Because that is not an official confirmation of the live shop, check the in-game store for the current price and availability before spending units.

Is there a Savage Land comic tie-in?
For readers interested in the story setting, a PRH Comics catalog entry describes a collected edition containing Rogue: The Savage Land (2025) #1–5 and Uncanny X-Men (1981) #169 and #174. The comic collection is separate from the digital Marvel Rivals costume; buying or reading it does not grant the skin. The catalog entry does not establish current retailer stock or pricing.
