Is this Marvel Rivals tier list current?
No. Season 7 began on March 20, 2026, at 09:00 UTC, with White Fox joining the roster. On October 8, 2026, the latest official notes announced Season 10.5 would begin the following day, October 9, at 09:00 UTC. What were the best heroes in Season 7?
The available evidence does not support a defensible Season 7 ranking. The tier lists available here are from later updates: Claude Gaming labels its list a Season 9.5 snapshot last checked August 19, 2026, while igitems marks its list updated October 5, 2026. Neither should be presented as a Season 7 ranking.
For context only, the later lists do show how much rankings can differ. Claude Gaming put Peni Parker, Mantis, Rocket Raccoon, Magik, Storm, and Hela in S tier in its August Season 9.5 snapshot. The October 5 igitems list put Luna Snow, Iron Man, Rocket Raccoon, Peni Parker, Ultron, and Daredevil in S tier. Claude ranked Magik and Storm in S; igitems placed both in A. How to judge hero strength for your matches
There is no official universal tier list in the sources reviewed. Marvel Rivals does publish a Hero Hot List with win-rate information. For a useful comparison, check the relevant platform, mode, rank bracket, and measurement date; an aggregate win rate without that context may not describe your matches. The third-party site rivals.gs says it republishes official pick-rate and win-rate measurements and identifies its latest computation as October 6, 2026. Such statistics can help describe a defined population, but they do not by themselves prove which hero is best for every player or team. rivals.gs statistics

- Compare like with like: Separate heroes by role and, where data permits, rank bracket and game mode.
- Consider selection as well as results: Win rate and pick rate answer different questions; team synergy and flexibility also affect a tier-list judgment.
- Account for your own proficiency: A practiced player can perform well on a hero ranked lower by a publisher, and team composition can change a pick’s value. Claude Gaming explicitly describes its rankings as snapshots and notes the importance of practice.
What changed in Season 7 competitive play?
Season 7 introduced individual performance tracking across its ten placement matches. The official notes said, “Every placement match now tracks your individual performance (not tied to teammates).” They also described rank adjustments of -100 to +100 competitive points based on personal results and tier. Season 7 also expanded the ban phase: each team could ban three heroes, up from two, with 15 seconds for the ban round. That makes a fixed tier order less useful as a complete guide: bans can remove preferred picks, and the remaining choices still have to fit the team. Official Season 7 patch notes
