Emma Frost’s X-Revolution costume appears in a gameplay showcase published ahead of Marvel Rivals’ Season 2 launch. The video, posted by Val Starlight on April 4, 2025, shows the costume in bot gameplay; Marvel’s April 8 patch notes later listed X-Revolution among the Season 2 launch costumes scheduled for the April 11 update.
What the X-Revolution gameplay showcase shows
Val Starlight’s video, “Emma Frost | X-Revolution Skin Showcase | Marvel Rivals Gameplay | Season 2”, was published on April 4, 2025. Its description identifies the footage as gameplay against bots, so it offers a look at Emma Frost using the costume in motion—not a competitive match or an independent performance test.
When X-Revolution arrived in Marvel Rivals
The showcase appeared before the official Season 2 patch notes. In notes dated April 8, 2025, Marvel announced, “Emma Frost makes her dazzling debut in Marvel Rivals!” and listed “Emma Frost – X-Revolution & Blue Sapphire!” among the new costumes in the Season 2 content update. The update’s maintenance was planned for April 11, 2025. Read Marvel Rivals Version 20250411 Patch Notes.
That establishes X-Revolution as a Season 2 launch costume. Blue Sapphire was the other Emma Frost costume named in the same patch notes; the notes do not establish a meaningful comparison between the two.

Costume inspiration and listed bundle price
The third-party Marvel Rivals Database listing for X-Revolution classifies it as an Epic costume and identifies Uncanny X-Men (2013) #1 as its inspiration. That comic is optional background reading, not a requirement to use or obtain the costume.
The database records an X-Revolution bundle price of 1,600 Units, reduced from 2,200. Those figures are historical listing information, not confirmation of the current in-game price. The available information does not establish whether X-Revolution is currently obtainable; check the live in-game store or an official current announcement for present availability and pricing.
