What does Mass Effect Legendary Edition include?

That bundling is the main buying advantage over assembling the original releases and their add-ons one at a time. You start one collection launcher, then progress through the trilogy with choices carried forward. It also means you should not add the named story packs to your shopping list as though they were mandatory separate purchases for Legendary Edition.
Does it include ME3 multiplayer or Pinnacle Station?
No: do not buy this collection expecting Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. EA describes Legendary Edition as a single-player collection and says its Galactic Readiness system no longer depends on multiplayer. Pinnacle Station is not on the publisher’s itemized Legendary Edition content list. EA’s separate reference to that DLC concerns the original Mass Effect, so it should not be taken as confirmation that it is included here. Do not treat an original-game DLC list, a retailer’s generic “complete” wording or a fan checklist as proof of inclusion.

EA describes updated character models, textures, lighting and HDR-capable presentation across the trilogy. The first game also received updates to aiming, combat, interfaces and Mako controls. These changes target the oldest game’s presentation and handling while preserving the three-game structure. They are publisher-described changes, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate, resolution or visual result on every system.
The three games open through a unified launcher, but saves are managed separately for each game. Choices can carry forward through the trilogy, making the collection a connected campaign rather than three unrelated installs. EA also says Mass Effect 3 uses the Extended Cut finale by default. In the team’s Gameplay Calibrations article, the Mass Effect team stated: “And on that note: the Extended Cut ending is now the game’s default finale.” That describes the included default ending content; it is not a promise about any individual player’s preferred outcome.
The series’ Galactic Readiness was rebalanced so it no longer relies on the old multiplayer mode or companion app. That matters if you remember the original release’s readiness system: the collection is designed as a single-player experience, not as a bundle that requires online multiplayer to reach its intended finale. The separate save handling also matters when planning a long playthrough: finish or preserve the relevant game save before starting the next installment, rather than assuming all three titles share one universal save folder.
Which PlayStation version should you get?
The PlayStation release is the PS4 version, which Sony lists as playable on a compatible PS5. If you have a PS4
Choose the digital store version for convenience, or a physical PS4 copy if you prefer a disc. Digital avoids a case and disc checks; physical can be resold or bought used, subject to condition and completeness. Should you buy it on PC through Steam or the EA app?
Both are PC purchase routes; choose based on the store and launcher arrangement you prefer. The 120 GB is a required-storage figure, not a measured download size. Reserve additional free space for Windows, updates and other software instead of treating 120 GB as the entire drive capacity. Is all the DLC included?
