Konami said performance-stability work across platforms was still under investigation at the time. A later update, Ver.1.2.1, listed a performance-stability adjustment; the official notes reviewed do not include benchmark results showing how much it changed or whether problems were eliminated on any platform.

Konami’s Ver.1.1.3 announcement also listed several requests under investigation: Steam 21:9 display support (excluding demos), an in-game system-specifications display on Steam, a rendering-mode choice on PS5 Pro, and performance stability across platforms. The notice said addressing these items could take time. That describes the status when the announcement was published; it does not establish whether each request was still outstanding after subsequent updates.
Did Ver.1.1.3 fix performance problems?
Not according to its change list: Ver.1.1.3 did not name a performance adjustment or provide performance measurements. Konami did acknowledge that performance stability across platforms was being investigated, but that is not the same as a measured finding about frame rates, stutter, or stability on a particular system.

- ERA: THE 1960'S BATTLE OF IDEOLOGIES: Relive history as the Cold War and geo-political landscape change
- GAMEPLAY: SURVIVAL BATTLE OF INSTINCTS: Outsmart enemies with camouflage, close-quarters combat, stalking, interrogating, climbing, hunting and treating injuries
- SETTING: THE JUNGLE BATTLE OF REPTILES: Pit yourself against an environment where traps catch enemies and prey, threats lurk in the shadows and noises alert predators
The subsequent official record adds context. Ver.1.2.1, dated October 30, 2025, listed a performance-stability adjustment across platforms. That confirms Konami made a later change in this area, but the patch notes give no benchmarks or assurance that every performance issue was resolved. The latest update entry found in Konami’s news index for this chronology is Ver.1.2.4, dated January 26, 2026; its notice lists text corrections and minor bug fixes or adjustments, not a performance change. This chronology does not prove that performance remained unchanged after Ver.1.2.1, or that no later update exists outside the checked index.
What later updates added by platform
Ver.1.2.1 also added features with specific platform limits. These distinctions matter: a feature listed for Steam or PS5 Pro should not be assumed to apply to every version.

| Update item | Platform or scope | What Konami listed |
|---|---|---|
| 21:9 display support | Steam | Added; some screens remain 16:9. |
| System-environment display | Steam | Added an in-game way to view system-environment information. |
| Rendering-mode selection | PS5 Pro | Added a choice of rendering mode. |
| Camera-distance adjustment | Cross-platform | Added an adjustment to camera distance. |
| Performance-stability adjustment | Across platforms | Listed as an adjustment; no measured result or quantified improvement was provided. |
| FOX HUNT | As listed in the update notice | Added as a feature; the notice does not make this a performance change. |
The platform list for the remake is PlayStation 5, PC (Steam), and Xbox Series X|S, according to Konami’s game overview. The update’s platform qualifiers still apply: the ultrawide and system-environment options are Steam additions, while rendering-mode selection is specifically listed for PS5 Pro.

Konami’s notes document the changes it announced, not controlled performance tests. They do not provide frame-rate measurements, platform comparisons, hardware-by-hardware results, or a quantified before-and-after improvement. As a result, they support saying that a stability adjustment was made in Ver.1.2.1, but not that performance is now good or bad on every configuration.

For a useful performance judgment, the relevant comparison would need to identify the platform, hardware or system configuration, and game version. The official notices covered here do not supply those head-to-head results. The game is a remake of the 2004 METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER, available on PS5, Steam, and Xbox Series X|S, but that product context does not resolve how it runs on an individual system.
