Modern Warfare 4’s Cachette multiplayer map hides a working 3D printer in the upstairs Armory. Wait for the printer to display a weapon, break its case or screen, and you can pick up that gun for immediate use in the match. The drop is selected randomly, so the weapon you find—and its configuration—may differ from the next lobby.
Where is the 3D printer on Cachette?
The printer is inside the Armory point of interest upstairs on Cachette. It is enclosed rather than sitting openly on a workbench, and the display visibly contains a weapon. You do not need a special field upgrade, key or inventory item to use it.

This is an Easter egg pickup, not a progression station. It echoes the physical fabrication hub described for Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ mode, but the multiplayer version gives you a ready-to-use weapon instead of asking you to gather crafting materials.

- Queue for Cachette in multiplayer and enter the match.
- Go upstairs to the Armory. Search the room for the enclosed 3D printer.
- Let the printer sit for a short time. Reports describe a brief wait before the weapon can be exposed.
- Melee or otherwise break the case or screen. Once the housing is damaged, the weapon becomes accessible.
- Pick up the gun. It is a usable weapon build and can be fired immediately during that match.
If another player reaches the Armory first, the pickup may already be gone. The reports do not establish a respawn timer, a guaranteed refill, or a way to force a particular weapon.

Are the printer weapons fully kitted?
Secondary coverage describes the multiplayer drops as generally fully kitted builds, commonly with up to five attachments. The original discoverer also reported that repeated drops kept the same attachments, while some weapons—such as the PPSH—appeared in multiple set configurations. That suggests the printer can draw from preset builds rather than rolling every attachment independently.

“Up to five attachments” is an observation from the reported matches, not a developer-confirmed rule for every possible drop. Expect a weapon that is ready to use, but inspect its attachment panel before assuming two copies will handle identically.
Is the 3D-printed camo unlockable?

Reports describe a weapon present at the start of each multiplayer match, but they do not establish whether every playlist, private match or later game update behaves identically. If the display is empty, check that you are in the upstairs Armory and wait briefly before breaking it.
Do I keep a 3D-printed gun after the match ends?
The documented behavior is a temporary pickup that can be used in that match. No evidence shows that the weapon or its preset attachments are added permanently to your armory.
Can another player steal the printer weapon?
Yes. Once exposed, it is a normal world pickup, so a teammate or opponent who reaches the Armory can take it before you do. Secure the room before waiting for the printer.
