Stranded contains 26 Yellow Supply Crates: 24 stay at fixed map locations, while two are mobile—the crate on a moving train and the crate carried by a roaming convoy truck. The in-game target is 26/26. If your counter stops at 24/26 or 25/26, check those mobile caches before searching every fixed location again.
What counts toward the Stranded total
The Yellow Supply Crate checklist is mission-specific. All 26 entries belong to the Stranded campaign mission in Modern Warfare 4, and the completion counter is the authority for a finished run. A location marker, visible container, or keypad clue is not enough by itself: open the container and collect the crate, then confirm that the counter has advanced.

The fixed caches can be revisited in any order. The train and convoy-truck entries behave differently because their containers move through the level. They are the usual explanation for a nearly complete total, especially when every obvious landmark has already been searched.

Current third-party guides published in October 2026 identify the same 26-entry target. One route index also lists 58 campaign notes alongside the 26 Yellow Crates, which is useful context when following a full collectible route: campaign notes and Yellow Crates are separate counters.

Prepare a no-miss checklist before starting
Keep the 26 labels in a notes app, on paper, or in a screenshot you can mark during the mission. Record a crate only after you have opened it and seen the pickup register. This matters at locations where the container is visible before the required ladder, roof, sewer, elevator, code or obstruction step has been completed.
Separate stationary entries from the two moving entries. The Train and Infantry Checkpoint 3 Truck should have their own reminders even if you have already cleared every nearby building. A coordinate is a map reference, not proof that a mobile event has been completed.
For keypad containers, copy the four digits exactly, including zeroes at the front. For buildings, command centers and bunkers, plan to search inside rather than treating the outside landmark as the destination. These simple habits prevent most false “all locations cleared” conclusions.
Complete 26-crate checklist
Use the labels below as your master list. Coordinates are the published map coordinates; the number in the first column is a checklist position, not a required order. The two entries marked mobile cannot be cleared by simply walking to the coordinate and searching once.

How to read duplicate labels and coordinates
Several entries share broad names, so do not cross them off by name alone. The three Logistics Station crates are separate checklist positions at 615, 142, 668, 183 and 658, 118. Their access routes are also different: one uses an elevator moved by a generator, one uses a garage door and one is in a command center.
Infantry Checkpoint 3 has both a stationary command-center crate and the truck crate at the same published coordinate. Likewise, the Train and Railway Water Tank are nearby but are not the same pickup. Use the numbered list, the label and the counter together rather than relying on a single landmark name.
Keypad codes and locked-storage checks
Enter every code as four digits. The keypad treats leading zeroes as part of the code, so do not shorten 0024 to 24, or 0078 to 78.

Small Island has one conflicting early-access report that gives 6788. The main location table and the location guide use 6789. Try 6789 first; if it fails in your particular build, inspect the clue shown on the in-game keypad instead of cycling through random numbers. The Base Camp and Farm Field codes are part of the locked-storage route, so check both when a container or bunker remains unopened even though the nearby landmark is already marked.
Access routes that are easy to miss
Elevated towers and roofs
The Base Camp Radio Tower cache is above ground level. Climb the tower south of Base Camp rather than circling the base looking for a door. At the Jamming Tower, the ladder leads to the base platform where the container is placed.
For the locked-house route, climb behind the house to reach the roof, then drop through the opening. The roof opening is the intended entry; repeatedly searching the ground-floor door will not reveal the container.
Water, sewer and bunker approaches
The Sewers entry is below the Water Treatment Plant. Follow the underground route to the Smuggler’s Stash instead of treating the nearby surface buildings as the destination.

When approaching the bunker through the Water Tower route, use the pipes to climb to the elevated cache. A bunker visible from ground level may still be inaccessible until you take this vertical route. The Infantry Checkpoint 4 approach is immediately before the bunker entrance, so inspect that approach as you move into the bunker area.
The NW Island entry is inside a hidden bunker. Enter code 0008 at the bunker entrance, then collect the cache inside; seeing the island structure alone does not complete the entry.
Buildings, command centers and obstructions
Artillery Battery 7 places its crate in the command center. The same search pattern applies at Infantry Checkpoints 2 and 3: enter their command centers rather than stopping at the exterior barriers. Logistics Station #10 likewise requires the command center.
At Logistics Station #100, activate the generator to move the elevator to the third floor. Enter behind the elevator to reach the cache. At Logistics Station #200, the route is through the garage’s left-side door.

At the northmost trapped house, clear the booby traps before collecting the cache. The SAM Site Statue entry is at the foot of the statue, not in a distant building on the same site. The Auto Shop and Bombed House entries similarly require an interior search; checking only the exterior landmark can leave the counter unchanged.
How to collect the two mobile crates
Train crate
Go to the track and wait beside it for the train to pass. Board the train while it is moving through the area, enter the open coach, and open the Yellow Supply Crate inside. The train entry is not a permanent chest at the Railway Water Tank coordinate, so returning to the rail line after the train has gone is necessary if you missed the boarding window.
Do not confuse seeing the train with collecting its crate. You need to get into the open coach and interact with the container. If the train leaves before you board, remain near the route and wait for another pass rather than marking the entry complete.

The Infantry Checkpoint 3 Truck entry is attached to a roaming convoy or patrol truck. Equip or activate the Supply Tracker, then watch for the truck near the relevant checkpoint and along its patrol route. Follow the vehicle until you can reach and open its container. A completed search of Infantry Checkpoint 3 does not automatically complete the truck entry; they are separate checklist positions sharing the same coordinate label.
The truck can be the final missing entry because it is easy to leave the area after clearing the checkpoint itself. Keep the tracker active during a cleanup run and follow the patrol route long enough to locate the vehicle, rather than assuming the truck is permanently parked at the checkpoint.
Fixed-location sweep strategy
A practical stationary sweep starts with structures that require a specific action: the radio and jamming towers, the Water Tower pipes, the Sewers, the roof-entry house, the elevator station and the NW Island bunker. Completing these actions early reduces the chance of passing a visible but inaccessible container repeatedly.

The published coordinates remain the definitive references, and you can collect the fixed caches in any sequence that suits your route. Cleanup workflow when the counter is incomplete
Use this sequence instead of restarting the entire campaign immediately:
- Check the in-game Yellow Supply Crate total before leaving the current region. Record the number and the locations already confirmed.
- If the total is 24/26 or 25/26, prioritize the train and convoy-truck entries. Their moving containers are more likely to be missing than a fixed landmark that has already been opened.
- Revisit every keypad location and verify the physical container was opened and the crate collected. Discovering a keypad, reading a code, or standing beside a locked box does not substitute for the pickup.
- Re-enter the codes with all four digits, including the leading zeroes in
0024,0078,0600,0330, and0008. - Use Mission Select to replay Stranded. The replay guidance for the mission says collectible progress carries over, allowing a cleanup run without erasing previously collected crates.
- During the replay, use the Supply Tracker for the roaming truck and wait for the train’s route rather than rushing past both mobile events.
- Finish only after the counter reads 26/26. Treat the counter, not a map sweep or a remembered landmark, as the completion check.
Why a location can look cleared when it is not
- Marker reached, crate unopened: A discovered location can remain incomplete until the container is opened and the pickup is collected.
- Checkpoint counted, truck missed: The fixed Infantry Checkpoint 3 crate and the Infantry Checkpoint 3 Truck crate are separate entries.
- Train route mistaken for a fixed spawn: The train container is in an open coach and must be boarded as the train passes.
- Code entered without zeroes: Keypads require the exact four-digit sequence.
- Exterior searched, interior skipped: Command centers, the Auto Shop, the Bombed House, the sewer entrance and the hidden bunker all place the relevant cache away from the obvious outside landmark.
- Access obstruction left intact: Wooden crates at Artillery Battery 6, booby traps at the northmost house and the roof, pipe, ladder or elevator routes can block the intended interaction.
- Wrong logistics entrance: The three Logistics Station entries use different approaches, including the generator-operated elevator, the left garage door and the command center.
Rewards from Yellow Supply Crates
The reward pool can include supplies, armor plates, equipment, weapons and attachments. Listed examples are the Sang 9mm silencer, heartbeat sensor, Kastov 762 with extended magazine, Rezi 12 with Enforcer, Akilo AR underbarrel grenade launcher, Type 73 LMG, Akilo AR silencer and Mosin-Nagant with scope.
Rewards are random. Opening a particular numbered crate does not guarantee one named weapon or attachment, so use the checklist to complete the mission rather than to target a promised drop from a specific location.

Best way to plan a no-miss run
Start by writing the 26 labels in a notes app or on paper and mark each one only after the pickup animation and counter update. Group the fixed locations by nearby landmarks while leaving separate reminders for the train and truck. This prevents the common mistake of checking every stationary container and assuming the mission is complete.
When you reach a keypad location, enter the code immediately and open the container before moving on. For vertical or interior locations, perform the access action first—climb, drop through the roof, enter the sewer, run the elevator, clear the obstruction or destroy the wooden crates—then search the newly accessible space. At the end of the mission, compare your written list with the counter and schedule a Mission Select cleanup if the numbers disagree.
Guide-format comparison
A coordinate-only route is fast when you already know the map, but it can leave you wondering which entrance or interaction completes a location. A landmark-only route is easier to follow visually, yet duplicate names such as the Logistics Stations and Infantry Checkpoint 3 can cause omissions. The most reliable format combines the coordinate, the named landmark, the access action and an explicit note for mobile caches.
For recovery, prioritize guides that explain the 26/26 counter, Mission Select carry-over, keypad formatting and the train and truck procedures. A list that omits those points may still identify many fixed containers while failing to solve the common 24/26 or 25/26 problem.
Evidence and edition qualification
The count, map labels, coordinates and reward examples come from current third-party Modern Warfare 4 guides dated October 18–19, 2026. The fixed-versus-mobile split and the Mission Select carry-over behavior are corroborated by separate replay and location guides. No first-party publisher checklist or independent official statistic is established for these entries, so keypad behavior and the Small Island code should be checked against the clue and behavior in the build you are playing.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many Yellow Supply Crates are in Modern Warfare 4’s Stranded mission?
There are 26 total: 24 fixed-position crates and two mobile caches, one on a moving train and one on a roaming convoy truck.

What is the last Yellow Crate I should check if I have 24/26 or 25/26?
Check the train and Infantry Checkpoint 3 Truck first. Their containers move, so they are commonly missed after all stationary landmarks have been searched.
Where is the train crate?
Wait beside the railway, board the passing train, enter its open coach and open the Yellow Supply Crate inside. It is not a permanent chest at the Railway Water Tank.
How do I find the convoy-truck crate?
Use the Supply Tracker and watch the patrol route near Infantry Checkpoint 3. Follow the roaming truck until you can reach and open its container.
What are the keypad codes for the Yellow Crates?
The codes are 0024, 8609, 0078, 0600, 1234, 6789, 0330 and 0008. Enter each as four digits.
Do leading zeroes matter on the keypads?
Yes. Enter 0024, 0078, 0600, 0330 and 0008 exactly; shortening them can prevent the container from opening.
Can I replay Stranded if I missed a crate?
Yes. Mission Select lets you replay Stranded, and the replay guidance says collectible progress carries over for a cleanup run.
Is the Small Island code 6789 or 6788?
Use 6789 first; it is the code in the main location table and guide. If it fails in your build, check the clue displayed on the in-game keypad.
Are rewards guaranteed from a specific numbered crate?
No. Supplies, armor, equipment, weapons and attachments come from a random reward pool, so a particular crate does not guarantee a named item.
Do campaign notes count as Yellow Supply Crates?
No. The 58 campaign notes listed in a route index are a separate collectible counter from the 26 Yellow Supply Crates.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Stranded is complete only at 26/26. Track all 24 fixed locations, preserve every keypad zero, and treat the train and convoy truck as separate mobile objectives. If one crate is missing, Mission Select and the Supply Tracker provide the cleanest recovery route.
