Order Bunny Dango at the Tea Shop before a hunt—or eat in your tent—to gain extra health and stamina and a chance to activate the Dango Skills you choose. Check each skill’s effect and activation chance in the menu, then decide whether to use a Dango Ticket and which skewer style fits your hunt. Dango effects last for the quest and end when you complete it or return to Kamura.
How Bunny Dango works
Bunny Dango is a meal you order at the Tea Shop. You choose three Dango, each associated with a Dango Skill. The meal provides extra health and stamina; each selected skill may activate, but activation is chance-based rather than guaranteed. You can also eat at your tent.

The Dango menu displays the skill effects and their activation chances. Use those details to build a meal around the hunt: for example, prioritize a skill whose effect addresses a particular risk, then consider how likely it is to activate and whether its level matters to your plan. There is no universally best trio.

Normal or Hopping Skewers?
The skewer style affects the level and activation chance of an activated skill. The Hopping Skewer result depends on the Dango’s position on the skewer; its top, middle, and bottom positions have different trade-offs.
#1 Best Overall
- The debut of the new “wirebug” mechanic allows for wire-based grappling actions that can be used to scale cliffs and other hard-to-reach areas, providing new traversal and aerial attack options.
- The game will introduce magnamalo, a menacing new flagship monster, as well as other new monsters like the shape-shifting aknosom, the amphibious tetranadon, and more.
- New hunting partners called palamutes can be personalized and used to ride across the terrain, providing players with all-new traveling and attack options.
- In addition to the plethora of solo and multiplayer quests, the immersive story mode will task aspiring hunters with discovering the secrets behind the puzzling “rampage” events that threaten kamura village.
- Play solo, or join up to three other hunters in local or online co-op play. The Nintendo Switch system also allows for hunting anywhere, anytime and with anyone!
| Skewer choice or position | Skill level if activated | Activation chance | When it may suit you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal Skewers | Level 2 | Maintains the displayed chance | Choose this for a steadier balance between skill level and the chance of activation. |
| Hopping Skewers — top | Level 4 | Greatly reduced | Use when the stronger effect is worth accepting a much lower chance of activation. |
| Hopping Skewers — middle | Level 3 | Reduced | A middle ground in skill level, with a lower activation chance. |
| Hopping Skewers — bottom | Level 1 | Increased | Use when improving the chance of activation matters more than getting a higher-level effect. |
Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak manual describes these changes qualitatively; it does not give universal numeric probabilities for Hopping Skewer positions. Compare the displayed chance and the skill’s actual effect in your menu rather than assuming a fixed rate.
When to use a Dango Ticket
A Dango Ticket increases the activation chances of all selected Dango Skills. It improves the odds; it does not guarantee that every skill will activate. Consider using one when a chosen skill is especially important for a difficult hunt, and check the menu’s displayed chances when making that decision.

Motley Mix can produce Dango Tickets. You can redeem tickets at the Tea Shop when ordering Bunny Dango. The official manual does not establish a fixed ticket yield from Motley Mix, so check your available tickets in-game rather than planning around a guaranteed amount.

Choose Dango by comparing the effects and activation chances shown in your current menu, not by relying on a one-size-fits-all recommendation. Unlocks and available choices can depend on whether you are playing the base game or Sunbreak. Check the Dango menu in your version and verify any missing option’s quest requirements there; older third-party lists may not reflect every version’s unlock conditions.
