How to get Morgott’s Cursed Sword
- Defeat Morgott, the Omen King, to receive the Remembrance of the Omen King.
- At Roundtable Hold, speak with Finger Reader Enia and exchange the remembrance for Morgott’s Cursed Sword.
Alternatively, a bell-bearing Wandering Mausoleum can duplicate the remembrance, allowing you to use the duplicate for the exchange. The sword can be obtained once per playthrough using either method. See the weapon’s acquisition details.

What Cursed-Blood Slice does
Cursed-Blood Slice is the sword’s unique skill. The in-game skill description says: “Brace, then charge forward to deliver a downward diagonal slice. The bloody trail of the blade is followed by a burst of flame. Additional input allows for a follow-up attack.” In practical terms, the skill moves the wielder forward into a slash, leaves a bloody trail that erupts in flame, and allows a follow-up attack with another input. The description is reproduced on the weapon’s wiki page.
Item description and lore
The in-game item description, reproduced by the Elden Ring Wiki, reads: “Warped blade of shifting hue used by Morgott, the Omen King. The accursed blood that Morgott recanted and sealed away reformed into this blade.” It frames the weapon as a manifestation of the accursed blood Morgott rejected and sealed away.

For a meaningful comparison with another curved greatsword, check scaling, status buildup, skill behavior and FP cost, upgrade path, and whether you want a weapon with a fixed skill.
