The MOZA AB6 is a Windows PC force-feedback flight control bundle that pairs an AB6 base with an MHG flightstick. Its stated output is 4.4 N·m of continuous roll torque and 6 N·m of peak combined torque. In Tom Henderson’s four-week review, the force feedback made flying feel substantially more immersive to him—but compatibility, mounting rigidity and the games you play matter before buying.
What comes in the MOZA AB6 bundle?
MOZA’s US product listing, accessed October 8, 2026, priced the AB6 Flight Simulator Bundle at $399.00 USD. The listing includes the AB6 force-feedback base, MHG flightstick, desktop clamp, power adapter and cord, data cord, toolkit, user manual and stickers. Price, availability, shipping and bundle contents can change, so check the live listing before ordering: MOZA AB6 Flight Simulator Bundle.
The base uses dual high-performance servo motors, and MOZA says the bundle offers 29 programmable signals. The review’s specification table lists ±20° roll, ±17° pitch and a 1000 Hz USB polling rate. These describe the hardware; they do not by themselves establish how much force feedback a particular simulator will provide.
What does force feedback add to flight simulation?
A conventional flightstick reports your inputs to the game. A force-feedback base can also apply changing resistance and movement through the stick, making control forces part of the experience rather than something conveyed only through the screen. The practical effect depends on the simulator’s support and configuration, as well as the player’s preferences.
#1 Best Overall
- The MOZA AB6 Bundle pairs a high-torque 6 N·m force feedback base with the precision MHG flightstick, offering accurate force feedback, 29 programmable signals, and immersive flight control
- Its compact, spacecraft-inspired design supports desktop clamp (included), optional baseplate, or direct hard-mount, adapting to any cockpit or desktop setup
- The MOZA AB6 Base is equipped with dual servo motors delivering a peak torque of 6Nm, offering precise, dynamic feedback that simulates various flight conditions such as taxiing, takeoff, landing, and turbulence.
- The MOZA MHG Flightstick is built with reinforced carbon fiber composite for durability and precision. Featuring Hall-effect sensors, a two-stage trigger, customizable RGB lighting, and a comprehensive control layout, it’s designed for maximum immersion across every flight scenario
- Compatible with MOZA and select third-party flightsticks, as well as major flight simulators
Tom Henderson, Insider Gaming’s Editor-in-Chief, used the AB6 for about four weeks. He says the hardware was a “true step up in terms of quality and immersion” in his setup. He also wrote: “The force feedback completely changed the immersion for both my son and me, and I don’t think either of us wants to go back to what we were using.” Those are Henderson’s personal reactions, not a controlled comparison or evidence of general user consensus; he notes he had been flight simming for around a year.
How strong is the AB6, and how does it compare with the AB9?
MOZA support documentation and the review report 4.4 N·m continuous roll torque and 6 N·m peak combined torque. The 6 N·m figure is a peak combined rating, not continuous torque. The review positions the AB6 as a more affordable entry point than the higher-output AB9 and notes that the AB6 bundle includes a flightstick. Those are useful comparison points, but the review’s price comparison is not a current price check; compare the live listings before deciding.
| Buying factor | AB6 information established here | What to verify for your setup |
|---|---|---|
| Torque | 4.4 N·m continuous roll; 6 N·m peak combined | Compare continuous and peak ratings separately rather than treating them as equivalent. |
| Grip and bundle | MHG flightstick and desktop clamp are listed in the AB6 bundle | Check the current bundle contents and whether the included grip suits your preferred controls. |
| Game support | MOZA lists support for a selection of flight simulators; telemetry feedback is listed for selected titles | Confirm your exact simulator and the feedback mode it supports. |
| Mounting | Desktop clamp included; optional baseplate or direct hard mounting also described | Account for the rigidity and any extra hardware your intended mount requires. |
| Platform | MOZA flight products currently support Windows PC | Confirm that your operating system and other hardware are supported. |
Which flight simulators support the AB6?
MOZA’s support materials list DCS World, War Thunder, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, X-Plane 11 and 12, IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover, IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles, and Star Citizen. MOZA marks telemetry force-feedback support for selected titles, including DCS World, Microsoft Flight Simulator titles and X-Plane. A game appearing on the supported-title list does not mean every feature or feedback mode behaves identically in it; some titles may require ordinary axis and button mapping or use another feedback mode. Check MOZA’s current flight simulation game support information and flight-product FAQ for your specific title.

- Classic and realistic design: Inspired by the original military fighter controls, it reproduces their look and feel in detail
- Robust construction: Metal body that ensures mechanical resistance and thermal stability
- Removable Modular Components: Easy-to-install expansions with pogo pin connection, no cables or hassle
- 30 Configurable Input Signals: Assign functions to each switch and create custom combinations with the MOZA Cockpit Control software
- Quality ALPS switches: Includes an 8-way hat switch for maximum precision
Does the AB6 work with your platform and flightstick?
MOZA says its flight products currently support Windows PC, with no official Mac, Linux, PlayStation or Xbox support. If you intend to use a third-party grip, MOZA lists selected Thrustmaster, Virpil and Winwing products, but the list is model-specific. It warns that some MongoosT-50CM2 batches may not be compatible and says support for additional grips may expand through updates. Verify the exact grip model and, where relevant, its batch against MOZA’s flight-simulation product compatibility information before purchase.

How should you mount and configure it?
The included desktop clamp gives you a way to attach the base to a desk. MOZA’s support guidance notes that a desktop mount can flex slightly under high force and recommends a fixed rig or cockpit for maximum rigidity. The bundle listing also describes optional baseplate mounting and direct hard mounting; the baseplate is separately sold. Choose the mounting approach with the forces you expect and your available space in mind.
MOZA Cockpit software can be used to tune force feedback and configure controls. The base can also be switched to shifter use, but Active Shifter Mode requires the separately sold Active Shifter Knob and configuration in MOZA Pit House; it is not an included flight-simulator feature of the bundle.

- Ergonomic and durable aluminum knob.
- Full compatibility with the Moza Racing ecosystem.
- Robust construction and easy installation.
Is the MOZA AB6 worth considering?
The AB6 is a plausible choice for a Windows PC player who wants a force-feedback flightstick system in a bundle that includes the MHG grip and values MOZA’s stated 6 N·m peak combined torque. The case for it is weaker if your preferred platform is unsupported, your simulator’s feedback support does not meet your needs, or your desk cannot provide the rigidity you want and you do not plan to use a fixed rig. At the US listing price of $399.00 USD recorded October 8, 2026, the value depends on those fit questions as well as the live price and what mounting hardware you need.
For the subjective experience, the available hands-on assessment is Henderson’s positive account after about four weeks—not a broad survey or a controlled comparison. Treat it as one reviewer’s evidence of what the force feedback added to his setup, then decide whether your games, grip and mounting arrangement line up with the bundle.
