MOZA’s active sim-racing pedal is the mBooster Active Pedal, a powered pedal that can be configured as a throttle, brake, or clutch and can generate adjustable force-feedback effects. MOZA presents it as a way to add dynamic feedback to a sim rig; its specifications and feature descriptions are manufacturer claims, not independent evidence that it makes sim racing feel identical to driving a real car or improves lap times.
What is the MOZA mBooster Active Pedal?
The mBooster is an active-force-feedback pedal rather than a conventional passive pedal. MOZA says its Pit House software can switch the unit among throttle, brake, and clutch modes, and adjust characteristics such as rebound, stroke, damping, friction, and the force-feedback curve. MOZA also promotes effects including ABS, traction control, engine vibration, and G-force feedback. Those effects depend on configuration and supported game telemetry; they should be understood as simulated feedback, not a measured reproduction of forces in a real car.
MOZA dates the product’s commercial launch to March 2025, after first unveiling it at Gamescom 2024. Its March 2025 announcement listed launch prices across several regions; those historical prices are not a guide to today’s checkout total. MOZA’s product page and support documentation describe the current product and setup.
What specifications and adjustments does MOZA list?
These figures come from MOZA’s product materials and support page, not independent testing. The product page lists both a 15-bit angle sensor and, in its promotional description, a 21-bit magnetic encoder; these are separate stated specifications and should not be treated as the same sensor-resolution figure.

- MOZA mBooster Active Pedal Racing Simulator redefines sim racing with realistic dynamic force feedback and precision control.
- Professional Racing Simulator
| Specification | MOZA-stated value |
|---|---|
| Load cells | Dual 200 kg sensors |
| Angle sensor | 15-bit (32,768 PPR) |
| Magnetic encoder | 21-bit, stated separately in product-page copy |
| Peak power | 270 W |
| Power input | 110–220 V AC to 48 V DC |
| Pedal travel adjustment | 0–25° |
| Angle adjustment | 0–15° |
| Total travel | 59.5 mm |
| Maximum adjustable travel | 39.5 mm |
| Software-adjustable travel: throttle | 3.8–49.7 mm |
| Software-adjustable travel: brake | 17.6–49.7 mm |
| Software-adjustable travel: clutch | 3.8–49.7 mm |
The travel ranges and connection guidance are from MOZA Support; the sensor, power, and adjustment figures are from MOZA’s product page. MOZA describes the force-feedback curve as customizable, with controls for starting and ending force to alter pedal stiffness. Actual feel therefore depends on software settings as well as the physical adjustment range.
Power, wheelbase, and game compatibility
The mBooster needs external power. Connection to the sim rig depends on the base you use:
Rank #2
- MOZA CRP2 LOAD CELL PEDALS
- Compatible MOZA wheelbase: MOZA instructs users to connect the pedal to a base with an RJ45 pedal port.
- Third-party wheelbase: MOZA’s stated connection path is USB from the pedal to the PC. Check your hardware and intended setup before buying rather than assuming every base connection works the same way.
- Telemetry effects: Configure the effects in Pit House, and verify that the games you play provide supported telemetry. MOZA lists titles including Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, F1, iRacing, and rFactor 2, among others.
The support page also says up to three mBooster pedals can be connected through RJ11 cables. That is a manufacturer-documented configuration, not a claim that every pedal plate or rig accommodates three units.
Will it fit your pedal plate?
Mounting depends on which plate you own and how many active and mechanical pedals you want to combine. MOZA distinguishes its mBooster and CRP2 plate configurations:
Rank #3
- MOZA SRP2 Dual Pedals built for ultimate control—fully adjustable, highly precise, and crafted from aerospace-grade materials for serious sim racers.
- The standard elastomer and multi-hardness spring setup enables 25 brake feel configurations. Optional Performance Kit unlocks 1,000+ setups with F1/LMP1-style ultra-responsive feedback.
- CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminum and high-strength steel deliver rock-solid durability and a premium, lightweight feel.
- Advanced sensor fusion merges angle and force data, giving you unmatched braking precision and intuitive control.
- Feel every gram of pressure. The 100Kg load cell ensures instant, accurate brake response under any racing scenario.
| Plate or configuration | MOZA-documented fit |
|---|---|
| mBooster Base Plate | Up to three mBooster active pedals; excludes CRP2 |
| CRP2 Base Plate | Up to two mBoosters plus one optional CRP2 mechanical pedal |
| CRP2 plate with mBooster | MOZA recommends the mBooster Base Extension Plate because the mBooster is longer than the existing CRP2 plate’s mounting-hole reach |
Before ordering a mounting accessory, compare the plate you already have with the pedal roles you want. The extension plate and other related products are not universally necessary; the right combination depends on the existing mounting arrangement and whether a mechanical pedal will fill a throttle or clutch role. See MOZA’s mounting and connection guidance.
Price and availability depend on region and date
On October 8, 2026, MOZA’s US product page displayed the standalone mBooster at $759 USD on sale, versus a listed regular price of $799 USD, and showed it as in stock for dispatch within two business days. That is a time-specific US listing, not a guaranteed price, stock status, or final delivered cost; the page says shipping and taxes are calculated separately. Check the listing at purchase.
Rank #4
- SECURE POWER BRICK HOLD – Keeps your power supply firmly in place with no shifting
- IMPROVED CABLE MANAGEMENT – Organizes cables for a cleaner and more efficient setup
- PROTECTS YOUR EQUIPMENT – Prevents damage by keeping your power brick off the floor
- SPACE-SAVING DESIGN – Reduces clutter and frees up valuable rig space
- DURABLE CONSTRUCTION – Built for long-term reliability in demanding sim racing environments
For context, MOZA’s March 2025 launch announcement listed launch prices of $799 USD, €899 EUR, £799 GBP, AUD $1,499, and JPY ¥129,900. These are historical launch prices, not current regional quotes. The US product listing offers a standalone pedal and a set with a CRP2 throttle; compare the included hardware and mounting needs rather than assuming a bundle is the right value. MOZA’s US product listing is the source for the dated US display, while the launch figures appeared in MOZA’s March 2025 announcement.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is it a meaningful step toward real-car feel?
The mBooster’s active feedback and adjustable force curve give sim racers more ways to shape pedal response than a conventional passive pedal. That is a feature description, not proof of realism: the available manufacturer materials do not provide a named, measured comparison against real-car pedals, nor independent performance testing showing improved driving or lap times. Whether its feedback suits a particular driver will depend on setup, supported telemetry, mounting, and personal preference.
