What happened to MultiVersus?
In its January 31, 2025 update, WB Games said Season 5 would be the game’s final season. Real-money transactions stopped that day, and online features were scheduled to end on May 30, 2025.

The official MultiVersus Discord listing records that the game was taken offline permanently and delisted from storefronts on May 30, 2025, while remaining playable through offline modes.

Can you redeem a MultiVersus code now?
There is no verified current code or confirmed redemption route. The shutdown notices address online play and offline access, not whether WB Games still accepts codes. The status of the legacy redemption page is unverified, so it would be misleading to call old codes active or promise that they will work.
A code appearing on a third-party list is not proof that it can still be redeemed. Treat old code lists and walkthroughs as historical unless WB Games confirms current availability.
Can you still play MultiVersus offline?
WB Games said players who wanted to play offline after the shutdown had to download the latest version and log in during Season 5, which ran from February 4 through May 30, 2025. That access requirement has passed. The notices do not establish that new players can download or initialize the game now.
