Native Trainer’s documented options cover spawning peds, bodyguards and combat peds that attack the player. Menyoo adds scene construction through Object Spooner, ped and vehicle placement, relationship and combat-state controls, world settings and XML scene saves. The right pick depends on whether you value a quick trigger or control that can be rebuilt consistently.
What you are actually choosing
Starting a ped fight in GTA 5 can mean several different things. You might want one hostile NPC to attack your character immediately, a group of peds that fights the player, two groups that attack each other, or a staged scene that can be loaded again for screenshots and video. Those are different jobs even though they all look like a trainer comparison.

- One-off fight: spawn a combat-capable ped and begin testing with as little setup as possible.
- Multi-ped fight: place several actors and make their relationship, target and combat states cooperate.
- NPC-versus-NPC encounter: arrange opposing relationship groups or explicit targets rather than relying on a single hostile spawn.
- Repeatable scene: preserve positions, actors and environmental settings so the same setup can be recreated.
Native Trainer is adequate for the first case. Menyoo is stronger for the other three because its documented feature set is built around placing and saving scenes, while its source exposes lower-level relationship and combat controls. Neither choice proves identical behavior on every GTA V installation: the available evidence does not establish a complete compatibility matrix for Legacy and Enhanced editions, and it does not establish a current Native Trainer release or exact hotkeys.

| Decision factor | Native Trainer | Menyoo |
|---|---|---|
| Fast hostile encounter | Documented ped spawning, bodyguards and combat peds that attack the player. | Can spawn and place peds, but its advantage is broader scene control rather than the shortest one-action setup. |
| Relationship control | The available reference does not document a complete relationship-control menu. | Source exposes relationship-group methods, priority-target controls and other ped-state operations. |
| Combat-state adjustment | Combat-ped spawning is documented; the reference does not provide a full matrix of combat-state switches. | Menu routines include combat-attribute changes, nearby-ped calming and an everyone-ignore-player control. |
| Scene construction | The retrieved reference does not document an Object Spooner-style scene builder. | Object Spooner supports placing peds and vehicles and building custom maps. |
| World control | The retrieved reference does not establish the same breadth of world controls. | The official page describes control of weather, time and the entire world. |
| Saving and replaying | No authoritative scene-save workflow is established in the available reference. | Scenes can be saved as XML according to the official product description. |
| Release information | Current version and exact compatibility are not established by an authoritative release page in the available material. | The official page displays version 2.3.1 and describes the project as free, open source and GPL-3.0; release details are subject to change. |
When Native Trainer is the better tool
Use it for a quick player-versus-ped test
If your goal is simply to make an NPC attack your character, Native Trainer has the relevant documented path: spawn a ped, bodyguard or combat ped and use the combat-ped option that attacks the player. This is the shortest route when you do not need a prepared arena, opposing factions or a scene file.

The practical advantage is not a proven universal hotkey or a guaranteed identical menu layout. The reference available for Native Trainer does not provide a current authoritative release page, complete menu matrix or exact key bindings. Treat the labels and navigation as build-dependent, and use the entries your installed version actually presents.
Why it is useful for experimentation
- You can test whether a particular ped model reacts to combat without first designing a complete scene.
- Bodyguards and combat-ped entries give you a direct player-facing fight rather than requiring explicit faction design.
- Minimal setup makes it suitable for trying a behavior once, then returning to normal story-mode play.
Where its documented advantage ends
The Native Trainer reference establishes that combat peds can attack the player, not that every version can reliably assign two custom groups to attack each other. It also does not establish XML scene saving, Object Spooner placement or the broader environmental controls documented for Menyoo. If your test depends on repeatable positions or NPC-versus-NPC targeting, you may reach Native Trainer’s documented limits quickly.
Why Menyoo wins for multi-ped and cinematic fights
Build the scene instead of improvising it
Menyoo’s official description identifies it as a GTA 5 story-mode mod menu and trainer that can spawn vehicles, build maps with Object Spooner, control weather and time, and control the wider world. It specifically describes placing peds and vehicles and saving scenes as XML. That combination matters because a fight is easier to reproduce when the actors, props, vehicles and environment are part of one saved arrangement.

Control relationships and targets
Menyoo’s source includes a RelationshipGroup_set operation and SetPriorityTargetForEnemies, along with other ped-state methods. These names indicate controls over the game systems that determine who is considered an enemy and which target receives priority. They are evidence of available low-level behavior controls, not a promise that every build exposes those operations under the same menu label.
For an NPC-versus-NPC scene, that distinction is important. Spawning two armed peds does not by itself establish that they are enemies. Their relationship groups, target priorities and combat states must be compatible with the fight you want. Menyoo gives you more ways to make those conditions explicit.
Shape the environment around the fight
Weather, time and world controls let you stage a daylight street clash, a stormy set piece or a controlled test environment without changing the actors themselves. Object Spooner extends that control to the physical layout by allowing ped and vehicle placement. These features are the reason Menyoo is better suited to machinima, screenshots and tests that must be repeated rather than merely witnessed once.

Save the arrangement
Saving a scene as XML turns a disposable setup into a reusable one. You can preserve the arrangement, load it again for another take and change one variable at a time. That is a material advantage over rebuilding a large group manually whenever the game resets or you want a second recording.
How the fight logic fits together
Relationship groups decide friend and foe
GTA V exposes native relationship and hostility checks, including relationship queries, hostile-ped checks and group-attack functions. Trainers call into those systems rather than inventing a separate combat model. A fight therefore depends on the relationships the game sees at the moment combat begins.
If two spawned peds belong to compatible or neutral groups, they may not attack each other even when both carry weapons. Conversely, a hostile relationship can make a ped treat another actor as an enemy before you issue any additional command. Menyoo’s relationship-group controls are useful because they address that underlying condition directly.

Targets and combat attributes affect the result
Relationship alone does not describe the entire behavior. Menyoo’s source references priority-target assignment and combat-attribute changes, while its menu routines also include controls that calm nearby peds or make everyone ignore the player. Those switches can override what you expect from a hostile relationship. A scene that appears correctly configured can still fail if a calming or player-ignore state remains active.
Player attacks and NPC-versus-NPC fights are different tests
Native Trainer’s documented combat-ped option is specifically described as attacking the player. That makes it a good test for player-versus-NPC aggression, but it does not establish the same level of control over two independent NPC sides. Menyoo’s relationship and target operations are better aligned with an NPC-versus-NPC test, although the exact menu exposure remains build-sensitive.
Native Trainer workflow for a one-off fight
- Open the trainer in story mode. Use the menu layout supplied by your installed build; the available reference does not establish universal hotkeys.
- Find the ped-spawning section. Choose a regular ped, bodyguard or combat-ped entry according to whether you want a neutral spawn, an escort or a documented attacker.
- Select the combat behavior. Use the option described by your build as a combat ped that attacks the player. This is the documented Native Trainer path for an immediate hostile encounter.
- Run the test before adding complexity. Confirm that the spawned actor engages your character before adding vehicles, props or additional peds. Isolating the first test makes it clear whether the trainer created the intended behavior.
- Repeat manually when you need another take. The available Native Trainer reference does not establish an authoritative XML scene-save workflow, so do not assume a large arrangement will be preserved automatically.
This workflow is intentionally narrow. It uses the feature that is actually documented and avoids claiming a specific menu path that may differ between versions.
Best Value
- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.
- Dual C-Clamp Hold - Worried your dual monitors might wobble or slip? Our upgraded base uses a larger platform plus a dual C-clamp structure to lock the dual monitor arm firmly to your desk. Each arm safely keeps your screens steady while you type, click and game—no shaking, no sliding, just a clean and secure setup you can trust every day. It also provides Grommet Mounting installation choice, both options ensure stable and secure fixation for your 0.59" - 3.54" desk.
- Full-Motion Adjustment For Comfortable View - Pull the screen closer when you’re deep in a spreadsheet, push it back to watch videos, or rotate to portrait for coding — moving everything smoothly with just one hand. The monitor stand offers +85°/-50° tilt, ±90° swivel and 360° rotation. Raise your monitor up to 15.75″ to support a healthy sitting posture. Whether you’re working from home, gaming through the night, or switching between video calls and documents, getting the screens to your natural line of sight helps relieve neck, shoulder and back strain so you can stay focused longer with less fatigue.
- Keep Your Desk Organized: By lifting both screens off the desktop, this dual monitor stand opens up valuable space for your keyboard, notebook, docking station or a simple, clutter-free work area. Built-in cable management guides wires along the arms, keeping cords out of sight and out of the way. Enjoy a tidy, modern workstation that looks as good as it feels to use.
Menyoo workflow for a repeatable ped fight
- Start with a clean story-mode scene. Installation and ScriptHook dependencies are version-sensitive, so use the requirements appropriate to your GTA V edition and Menyoo build rather than assuming Legacy and Enhanced behave identically.
- Place the actors. Use Menyoo’s ped-spawning tools and Object Spooner to position the participants. Add vehicles or props only after the actors are where you want them.
- Create the sides of the fight. Use the available relationship-group controls to separate allies and enemies. The source exposes relationship-group operations, but the visible label and menu location can vary by build.
- Assign target priority when needed. Menyoo’s source includes
SetPriorityTargetForEnemies. Apply the corresponding control when a ped must focus on a particular opposing actor instead of selecting targets unpredictably. - Check combat states. Review combat-attribute controls and make sure nearby-ped calming or everyone-ignore-player settings are not suppressing the behavior you want.
- Set the world. Adjust weather, time and other world settings for the intended look or test condition. These controls are part of Menyoo’s documented scope.
- Trigger the fight and observe. If the actors do not engage, change one relationship or combat setting at a time. Avoid changing several states simultaneously because you will lose track of which condition fixed the behavior.
- Save the scene as XML. Once the arrangement works, save it through Menyoo’s scene tools. Keep the XML with the same game and trainer setup used to create it, since compatibility across editions and future builds is not established.
Choosing by scenario
Scenario: one NPC attacks you immediately
Choose Native Trainer. Its documented combat-ped function directly matches this outcome, and there is no reason to build a saved scene when you only need a quick test.
Scenario: several NPCs attack the player
Either trainer can be a starting point, but Menyoo becomes preferable when you need to position multiple actors, adjust combat states or repeat the setup. Native Trainer remains practical if the encounter is disposable and the peds can be spawned without further coordination.
Scenario: two groups must fight each other
Choose Menyoo. Relationship groups, target priorities and combat attributes address the conditions that determine NPC-versus-NPC behavior. Native Trainer’s documented reference does not establish equivalent group-management coverage.
Scenario: a fight for a video or screenshot series
Choose Menyoo. Object Spooner, world controls and XML scene saves reduce the work needed to reproduce camera-friendly arrangements. The ability to reload a scene is more valuable here than the speed of a single spawn.
Scenario: you are unsure which GTA V edition you have
Do not assume that a tutorial for one edition applies unchanged to the other. The available evidence does not verify identical behavior for Legacy and Enhanced, so confirm that your trainer build and ScriptHook dependencies match the edition you are running before troubleshooting menu behavior.
Troubleshooting a fight that will not start
| Symptom | Likely condition to check | Practical response |
|---|---|---|
| A combat ped does not attack the player | The spawn may not be the combat-ped type, or a player-ignore state may be active. | Recreate the ped with the documented combat-ped option and check Menyoo controls that make everyone ignore the player. |
| Two peds stand together instead of fighting | Their relationship groups may not be hostile, or no priority target has been assigned. | Use Menyoo relationship-group and priority-target controls; Native Trainer’s available reference does not establish an equivalent complete workflow. |
| Peds stop behaving aggressively after setup changes | A nearby-ped calming or combat-attribute setting may have changed their state. | Review those controls and change one setting at a time so the cause remains identifiable. |
| The menu does not show a named control | Source-level operations are not guaranteed to appear under the same label in every build. | Look for the corresponding relationship, target or combat-state function in your version instead of relying on a universal menu path. |
| A saved scene will not behave the same after an upgrade | Trainer, ScriptHook or GTA V edition differences can affect compatibility. | Reproduce the scene with matching versions and treat XML portability across unverified builds as uncertain. |
Strengths and trade-offs
Native Trainer strengths
- Fast route to a player-facing fight through documented combat-ped spawning.
- Useful for short experiments where scene persistence is unnecessary.
- Less setup overhead when the desired result is one hostile NPC rather than a designed encounter.
Native Trainer trade-offs
- The available reference does not provide a current authoritative release page, exact hotkeys or a full menu matrix.
- It does not establish Object Spooner, XML scene saving or comprehensive relationship-group controls.
- You should not assume that a combat ped attacking the player proves that two custom NPC factions can be made to fight each other with the same workflow.
Menyoo strengths
- Object Spooner supports ped and vehicle placement and custom map construction.
- Source-level relationship-group, priority-target and combat-state operations support more deliberate NPC behavior.
- Weather, time and world controls improve staging and testing.
- XML scene saving makes a successful arrangement repeatable.
- The project is described officially as free, open source and GPL-3.0, with version 2.3.1 displayed on its product page at the time of the cited information.
Menyoo trade-offs
- More controls mean more conditions to configure before the fight behaves as intended.
- Source methods do not guarantee identical labels or exposure in every release.
- ScriptHook and edition compatibility are version-sensitive, and identical Legacy/Enhanced behavior has not been established.
Final decision
Pick Native Trainer when the requirement is a single, fast player-versus-ped encounter and you want to spawn a documented combat ped with minimal preparation. Pick Menyoo when “better” means control: several peds, opposing relationships, target priorities, combat-state adjustments, environmental staging and a scene you can save and reload. For starting ped fights as a repeatable activity rather than a one-time stunt, Menyoo is the stronger overall trainer.
