Two NBA 2K26 locker codes were reported on April 5, 2026: MYTEAM-99-OVR and MT-EASTER-BANNER. April reports described both as limited-time codes, so their validity later in April—and now—cannot be confirmed. Check each code in the game before relying on its reported reward.
NBA 2K26 codes reported for April 2026
The codes below appeared in reports published April 5 and 6, 2026. They are historical reports, not an official 2K inventory of codes that remain active. Both were described as limited time.
| Code | Reported reward | Expiry status |
|---|---|---|
MYTEAM-99-OVR |
A reported premium MyTEAM reward. The reports differ on the precise reward: one describes a guaranteed 99 OVR Dark Matter player card, while another describes a premium pack that could contain an NBA, WNBA, Master, or Easter card. Check the in-game confirmation rather than assuming a particular player or card. Prism News, April 6; NBA 2KW, April 5. | Reported as limited time; continued validity is not established. |
MT-EASTER-BANNER |
MyTEAM Easter Player Banner. NBA 2KW, April 5; Prism News, April 6. | Reported as limited time; continued validity is not established. |
The dates provide context, not confirmation: NBA 2K’s newsroom listed Season 6, “Unleash Your Final Form for the NBA Playoffs,” on April 1, 2026, but that announcement does not verify either code. 2K’s NBA 2K26 newsroom.

How to redeem a locker code
Use the in-game Locker Codes menu. The route and menu labels can vary by mode or game version; 2K’s support instructions point players to MyTEAM or MyCAREER from the main menu, with the code menu also available through MyTEAM’s Community Hub or MyCAREER’s Options/Quit menu in the Neighborhood or City.

- Open NBA 2K26 and go to MyTEAM or MyCAREER from the main menu.
- Open Locker Codes. In MyTEAM, look under Community Hub; in MyCAREER, check Options/Quit while in the Neighborhood or City. If your version shows different labels, look for the Locker Codes entry in the selected mode.
- Enter the code with its hyphens and submit it. Carefully distinguish similar characters such as 0 and O, 1 and L, or lowercase i.
- Check the reward destination. If the reward is a pack, find and open it in MyTEAM; a code accepting successfully does not necessarily mean the pack has already been opened.

Why a locker code may not work
- It expired or reached its redemption cap. 2K distinguishes unlimited, time-limited, and volume-limited codes. A limited code can stop working at its deadline or after enough players redeem it.
- It was already redeemed on that console. 2K says codes can be redeemed only once per console.
- The entry contains a typo. Keep the hyphens and check visually similar characters before submitting.
- The reward has not appeared yet. Restart the game and make sure it is up to date. For a pack reward, locate and open the pack.
- A connection timeout interrupted redemption. 2K warns that a timeout can consume a code without adding the content, and says support generally cannot compensate for unsuccessful redemption.
Many locker-code rewards include random elements. Unless the specific code description explicitly confirms a guaranteed result, a pack should not be treated as a promise of a particular player.
