Escape from Tarkov players who entered the PAY2WIN code were reportedly met with deliberately unimpressive loot—not the valuable gear its name and teaser implied. Insider Gaming reported the gag on December 7, 2025, attributing the code announcement to Battlestate Games head Nikita Buyanov.
What did the PAY2WIN code give players?
According to Insider Gaming’s December 7, 2025 report, the bundle contained a TOZ and a Blicky weapon, a small backpack, croutons, a fuze, and a replica helmet. The joke was the contrast: “PAY2WIN” and the teaser suggested valuable loot, while the reported reward was a low-value collection of in-game items.
Who announced the code, and when?
The report identifies Nikita Buyanov as Battlestate Games’ head and says he announced the code on social media on December 7, 2025. The code was PAY2WIN.
Can players still redeem PAY2WIN?
The report does not establish whether the code remains redeemable, and it does not independently verify the bundle through an official source. Its account confirms what was reported at the time, not whether the code works now.
