Insider Gaming reported prelaunch download sizes of 54.9 GB for Windows Store PC, 36.82 GB for Xbox Series X, and 23.55 GB for PS5. Those historical figures are not current install-size guarantees. For PC, Team NINJA specifies 100 GB of available storage and an SSD; that is a storage requirement, not a download-size measurement.
Can you preload NINJA GAIDEN 4 now?
No. The preload information available from Insider Gaming was a launch-window report dated October 9, 2025, before the game’s release. It said preloads were available on Windows Store PC and Xbox Series X|S, while PS5 and Steam did not yet have a confirmed preload date or time. The game subsequently launched in October 2025, so that report should not be treated as current preload instructions. Insider Gaming’s October 9, 2025 guide records the original status.
What were the reported prelaunch file sizes?
Insider Gaming reported the following prelaunch download sizes in 2025. They describe the figures reported before launch, not guaranteed current downloads or post-update installations.
| Platform | Reported prelaunch size | What the figure represents |
|---|---|---|
| Windows Store PC | 54.9 GB — Insider Gaming, 2025 | Prelaunch file-size report |
| Xbox Series X | 36.82 GB — Insider Gaming, 2025 | Prelaunch file-size report |
| PlayStation 5 | 23.55 GB — Insider Gaming, 2025 | Prelaunch file-size report |
The guide cautioned that a day-one update could change sizes. It did not establish current sizes across platforms, and these platform-specific prelaunch figures should not be used to predict the space a present-day installation will occupy.

How much PC storage should you reserve?
Team NINJA lists 100 GB of available space and an SSD in its PC requirements. The same 100 GB available-space requirement appears on the official Steam listing. Available space is a requirement for the PC setup, not a statement that the game downloads 100 GB or installs at exactly that size. Team NINJA’s official site and the Steam listing provide the published requirements.
Where is NINJA GAIDEN 4 available?
Official listings identify Xbox Series X|S, PC through Microsoft Store and Steam, and PlayStation 5. Xbox launch information also mentions Xbox Cloud and ROG Xbox Ally access, as well as launch-day availability with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Catalog access and cloud availability can depend on region and can change, so check the relevant store or subscription catalog before relying on them. Xbox Wire’s launch article covers those Xbox access routes; platform and game information is also available from Team NINJA.

Why do official listings show different release dates?
Steam displays October 20, 2025, while Team NINJA and Xbox launch materials use October 21, 2025. The dates differ by store context; consult the relevant platform listing when a store-specific date matters rather than treating one label as a correction of the other. Steam, Team NINJA, and Xbox Wire show their respective date information.

Team NINJA’s official site lists a physical PS5 version and says the Steam version is digital-only. That establishes the edition information, not current retail stock or a specific marketplace listing. Check the platform, edition, region, and current availability before buying.
Xbox Wire Japan also described physical PS5 and Xbox Deluxe editions. Its later correction said the Xbox Deluxe physical specification changed to include a disc and became limited to Xbox Series X with an optical drive. The Japan-region sale window ended February 27, 2026; this should not be read as a current offer or a globally available edition. Team NINJA’s official site lists the PS5 physical version, and Xbox Wire Japan describes the regional Deluxe-edition details.
