Nintendo UK’s featured release schedule for October 8–15, 2026, lists five games: four for Nintendo Switch 2 and one for Nintendo Switch. The lineup runs from a Kingdom Hearts collection and a puzzle adventure on October 8 to Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse on October 15. Nintendo published the schedule on September 30 and said its dates were accurate at that time; this is a UK-focused selection, not a complete list of every regional release.

These dates and platforms follow Nintendo UK’s Upcoming Games – October 2026 feature, published September 30, 2026. Nintendo describes the entries as a selection of games launching soon, and notes that dates were accurate at publication.

What stands out in the lineup
The schedule opens with two Switch 2 releases on October 8, then adds one game each on October 9 and October 14 before closing with a Nintendo Switch game on October 15. The five entries cover a collection, puzzle adventure, fantasy RPG, rhythm-action roguelike and action-exploration game.
Kingdom Hearts owners on Switch
Nintendo says owners of the earlier KINGDOM HEARTS Cloud titles can buy native Switch 2 versions at a discount and transfer saved progress. The roundup does not state the discount amount or other purchase terms. Its collection entry is listed for Switch 2. A separate Nintendo UK catalogue listing also shows KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX- for both Switch 2 and Switch on October 8; that is a distinct catalogue entry, not a reason to change the platform listed for the roundup’s collection.

Are these worldwide release dates?
No. The schedule is Nintendo UK’s regional feature, so dates and platform availability may differ in other territories. Use the Nintendo listing for your region to check local availability, pre-order options or wish-list access. The dates above reflect Nintendo UK’s September 30 schedule rather than a guarantee that nothing will change afterward.
When will the games appear on the Nintendo eShop?
Nintendo Support says, “The exact release time of games on the Nintendo eShop is decided by the publisher and may vary depending on the title.” Its general guidance is that digital-only software will usually be available at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time on release day; digital software also sold physically will usually be available at 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time the night before its physical release date; and some third-party titles may not appear until noon Pacific on release day. What the schedule does not confirm
Nintendo’s roundup supplies dates, platforms and brief descriptions, but it does not establish prices, physical formats, marketplace stock, performance, review scores or online requirements for these releases. Check the relevant regional store or publisher listing for details that matter to your purchase.
