Nintendo has announced holiday Switch 2 bundles, but the available announcements do not confirm any 2026 Cyber Monday retailer discounts. In the US, the announced Mario Kart World bundle costs $549.99 and Nintendo says it saves $37.98 against buying its contents separately at suggested retail prices. A Switch 2 Pro Controller, a compatible original Switch Pro Controller and a microSD Express card are also worth comparing—but check current retailer prices and stock before buying.
Are there confirmed Switch 2 Cyber Monday deals for 2026?
Not in the cited announcements. Nintendo has announced holiday bundles, but those announcements do not verify Cyber Monday promotions, retailer prices or stock. Treat the bundles below as announced offers, not confirmed Cyber Monday discounts. Before checking out, compare the retailer’s live total with the separate prices of the console, included game and membership.
US Switch 2 bundles: prices, contents and availability
Nintendo of America’s 2026 announcement gives the following US bundle details. Its stated savings compare the bundle with the suggested retail prices of the included items purchased individually; they are not a guarantee that the bundle beats every retailer’s current price.

Nintendo lists the standard Switch 2 system’s suggested retail price as $499.99, effective September 1, 2026. That is a manufacturer suggested price, not necessarily the retailer’s current selling price. The bundle’s practical value depends on whether you want its game and would use the 90-day membership; compare current standalone prices as well as Nintendo’s stated savings. UK and Japan offers are different
Bundle dates, contents, language and prices vary by region. The US dollar prices above should not be applied to offers sold elsewhere.
- UK: Nintendo announced a Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort bundle for October 22, a Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle for October 29, and a Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition for October 29. The cited announcement does not state prices. See Nintendo UK’s holiday bundle announcement.
- Japan: Nintendo Co., Ltd. announced a Japan-only Japanese-language Choose-Your-Game Bundle for November 12, 2026, at 63,980 yen including tax. It includes a download code for one of Mario Kart World, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort or Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. The code is valid through March 31, 2027. Which Switch 2 controller should you buy?
Switch 2 Pro Controller
If you want a new controller made for the console, look for the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller. Check the exact model and current price on Nintendo’s Switch 2 hardware and accessories store or at your chosen retailer. Do not assume that a listing for the original Switch Pro Controller is the same product.

Original Switch Pro Controller
Nintendo’s compatibility guidance confirms that the original Nintendo Switch Pro Controller can pair wirelessly with Switch 2. It can also be charged by connecting it to the Switch 2 dock with a USB cable. If you already own one, pairing it may be a better-value alternative to buying another controller. Original Joy-Con
Original Joy-Con can pair wirelessly with Switch 2, but they cannot attach to the console. Nintendo says they need a Switch console or a compatible charging grip or stand to charge. That distinction matters if you plan to use them for handheld play or need to recharge them without your old console.

Storage: buy microSD Express, not a conventional microSD card
Switch 2 is designed exclusively for microSD Express cards for game storage. A conventional microSD card is not suitable for storing Switch 2 games; Nintendo says it can be used only to view screenshots and videos captured on Switch. Check the card’s packaging and specifications for the microSD Express format, then compare capacity and current price. A familiar card that worked in the original Switch is not automatically the right card for Switch 2. Nintendo’s compatibility guidance.

Earbuds can be a useful accessory to compare, but the cited deal coverage is historical rather than evidence of a 2026 promotion. WIRED’s December 1, 2025 guide described SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds with a USB-C adapter for low-latency 2.4 GHz audio. It also mentioned a Spigen Nano Pop case that technically fits in the official dock, though tightly, and a 256 GB PNY microSD Express card. Those are product leads, not confirmed current prices, Switch 2 compatibility endorsements or Cyber Monday deals. How to judge a Switch 2 deal before checkout
- Confirm region and availability. Make sure the offer is for your market and that its announced date has arrived; an announcement is not proof of current stock.
- Calculate the bundle’s real value. Compare the checkout total with the current separate prices for the console, game and membership. Nintendo’s stated savings use suggested retail prices.
- Check what you will actually use. A full game download and a 90-day membership add value only if you want those items.
- Verify accessory model and compatibility. Distinguish the Switch 2 Pro Controller from the original model, and check Nintendo’s compatibility entry for older accessories.
- Match storage format to the console. For Switch 2 game storage, choose a microSD Express card rather than a conventional microSD card.
- Confirm live price and stock. The cited announcements do not establish 2026 Cyber Monday retailer promotions. Check the retailer’s current listing before ordering.
