Target’s listing for the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle recently showed “In Stock,” but that status was captured in a recent crawl—not confirmed live availability. Check the listing with your ZIP code and preferred pickup or delivery option before heading to a store or placing an order.

How to check whether Target has it now

  1. Open Target’s Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle listing.
  2. Set your delivery ZIP code or choose a nearby store, then check the availability shown for shipping, pickup, or in-store purchase. Availability can differ by location and fulfillment method.
  3. Confirm the status again at checkout. A recently indexed “In Stock” result is not a guarantee that the bundle remains available for your location.

What’s in the current bundle

Nintendo’s current bundle combines a Nintendo Switch 2 system, a full digital download of Mario Kart World, and a 90-day Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. The game is a download, not a physical cartridge. Nintendo lists handheld, TV, and tabletop play modes for the system.

Nintendo says the system supports single-system play for 1–4 players, local wireless play for 2–8, and online play for 2–24. Internet access and a Nintendo Account are required for online features, including GameChat; Nintendo Switch Online is required for online play and related membership features. See Nintendo’s bundle product page for details.

Current suggested price—and why older listings may say $499.99

Nintendo’s 2026 announcement gives the current U.S. bundle a suggested retail price of $549.99 and says buyers save $37.98 compared with the suggested prices of purchasing the included items separately. That is Nintendo’s suggested price, not confirmation of Target’s current price; check Target’s listing for its live price. The announcement describes the included membership as three months, or 90 days. Nintendo’s announcement has the bundle and pricing context.

#1 Best Overall
Nintendo Switch 2 System with Mario Kart World Game Bundle
  • The next evolution of Nintendo Switch
  • One system, three play modes: TV, Tabletop, and Handheld
  • Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
  • Race from one course to another through interconnected paths that span the world
  • Traverse mountains, forests, cities, and more—with shifting weather patterns and a day/night cycle

The $499.99 figure belongs to the original 2025 launch bundle, which included the system and a digital copy of Mario Kart World but not the 90-day membership described in the current configuration. Nintendo announced that earlier suggested price in 2025; it is not the current bundle’s suggested price. Nintendo’s 2025 launch announcement describes the original offer.

Target’s 2025 launch schedule is not a stock update

Target said the console and original Mario Kart World bundle would be available in stores on June 5, 2025, followed by online availability on June 6, while supplies lasted. That was the launch schedule, not evidence of today’s inventory. Target’s launch announcement gives the historical dates.
