If you are searching the Space Anomaly for a FORSAKEN expedition tile, the missing tile is not evidence of a broken installation. Hello Games identifies FORSAKEN as the 7.10 game update, not as a newly named expedition. Its announcement and patch notes direct players to update activities such as haunting mementos, Forsaken traders and courier missions instead. The separately named Expedition Twenty-Three: Our Journey Continues was announced on September 16, 2026, with an approximate six-week run; its exact availability at the time of checking was not established.

FORSAKEN is update 7.10, not a separately announced expedition. Hello Games’ October 28 announcement and the 7.10 notes describe a normal game update with new activities and systems, not a FORSAKEN event at the Expedition Terminus. The word “forsaken” also appeared in descriptions of the older Adrift expedition. That descriptive wording did not rename Adrift, and it does not establish a new FORSAKEN expedition. Treat the names as different pieces of content:

- Adrift: an older expedition whose promotional language used “forsaken,” but whose actual name was Adrift.
Consequently, no setting, save edit or purchase can make a FORSAKEN expedition tile appear when Hello Games has not announced that tile. The developer’s anniversary post refers to 41 named updates and celebrates ten years of No Man’s Sky, but that historical count does not turn every update into an expedition.
Which expedition is supposed to appear at the Anomaly?
If you mean the current anniversary event rather than the 7.10 update, look for Expedition Twenty-Three: Our Journey Continues. Hello Games said on September 16 that it would run for “approximately six weeks,” which places its rough boundary around late October, but the announcement does not give an exact cutoff or confirm its startability on October 30. Do not infer a precise countdown from that estimate, and do not assume that an empty menu means the servers are broken.

Keep the two questions separate: “Is Our Journey Continues currently available?” is an event-timing question, while “Why can’t I find FORSAKEN?” is a content-identity question. A missing FORSAKEN tile is expected because FORSAKEN is not the announced name of an expedition.
What exactly is missing?
Use the symptom first. The situations below have different explanations and should not be conflated.

How do I check whether FORSAKEN 7.10 is installed?
Confirm the installed build before changing saves or settings. The release information identifies FORSAKEN as version 7.10 and lists PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass and iOS. The entry does not separately label Mac, so Mac availability should be verified through the platform’s own update status rather than inferred from the omission. Check the current release log at Hello Games’ release log.

- Open the platform’s game-management screen and select the option that checks for updates. The label differs by platform; use the system’s normal update command rather than an in-game workaround.
- Launch only after the download and installation finish. Record the version shown on the title or save-selection screen if the platform displays it.
- Compare the result with the release log. A platform that has not received 7.10 cannot display 7.10 activities, while a platform that has received it still will not display an unannounced FORSAKEN expedition.
- Check the edition you actually own. A subscription copy, cartridge, digital license and physical disc can have different update workflows, but all still require the current patch for that platform.
Hello Games’ October 29, 2026 notice said the 7.11 patch was live on Steam while other platforms would follow; the release log labels that entry for PC and PlayStation 5. Platform rollout was therefore not necessarily simultaneous. Check your own platform rather than assuming that a patch available on Steam or PS5 has reached every edition. A 7.11 rollout notice is not evidence that every platform has the same build at the same moment.

Where do I find the actual FORSAKEN activities?
The 7.10 notes place the update’s collectible and trading loop in ordinary exploration, not at the Expedition Terminus. Search these locations after confirming the update is installed:
- Deep-space hulks for haunting mementos and related encounters.
- Infested outposts containing the update’s haunting content.
- Derelict freighters where mementos can be found.
- Planetary digsites that also contribute to the memento hunt.
- Space outposts, where Forsaken traders can be summoned to exchange mementos for corvette modules.
These are update activities and rewards. They are not expedition milestones, Terminus rewards or proof that an expedition menu is malfunctioning. If you have installed 7.10 but are checking only the Anomaly, travel to the locations above and follow the normal exploration prompts. The correct question is “Which location contains this feature?” rather than “Why is the expedition reward missing?”
The memento loop also explains why an ordinary save can contain FORSAKEN content without ever displaying an expedition badge. A player can collect the items, summon a trader and exchange them for corvette modules through regular gameplay. That progression is independent of the event schedule for Our Journey Continues.
Why is the courier mission missing?
Courier missions have a narrower prerequisite than the rest of FORSAKEN. Hello Games states in the 7.10 notes: “Travellers with a corvette and gravitino coil can now undertake package courier missions from deep-space outposts.” In practical terms, you need both a corvette and a Gravitino Coil before this mission type becomes available.
- Confirm that your save contains a corvette.
- Confirm that a Gravitino Coil is available as required by the mission system.
- Travel to a deep-space outpost rather than the Expedition Terminus.
- Look for the package courier interaction there.
- If the interaction is absent, verify the installed 7.10 build before treating it as a bug.
This requirement applies to courier missions only. It is not a general requirement for installing 7.10, seeing other FORSAKEN activities, or starting an expedition. Having a corvette and coil will not make an Our Journey Continues tile appear, and lacking them does not prevent you from exploring hulks, derelict freighters, infested outposts or digsites.
Could Minimal HUD be hiding the marker?
Yes, Minimal HUD can hide non-essential markers and reduce other interface elements, so it is a sensible check when an activity exists but its on-screen marker does not. It cannot create an expedition choice that Hello Games has not announced.
- Open the game’s Options menu.
- Go to the General or interface-related settings area used by your platform’s current build.
- Find Minimal HUD and temporarily disable it.
- Return to the relevant outpost, digsite or mission screen and check whether the marker is visible.
- Re-enable your preferred HUD mode after testing if the marker was the only problem.
If the marker returns, the issue was presentation rather than event access. If the FORSAKEN tile is still absent from the Terminus, return to the update-versus-expedition distinction; HUD settings cannot change that classification. An invisible courier marker and a nonexistent FORSAKEN expedition are different symptoms requiring different answers.

What should I do if the game crashes or a patch interaction fails?
The October 29, 2026 7.11 notice specifically addressed crashes involving the Anomaly teleporter and warping. It did not document a FORSAKEN-expedition unlock bug. First compare your installed patch and platform with the official release log, then reproduce the problem in a controlled sequence.
- Write down the platform, edition and installed version.
- Record the exact screen or activity that fails: Terminus menu, outpost interaction, courier mission, teleporter or warp.
- Note the steps that reliably reproduce the problem, including the save type and location.
- Install any platform update that is officially available, then retry once.
- If the same failure remains, submit those details through Hello Games’ official bug-report form so the developer has a reproducible report.
There is no official basis in the published 7.10 or 7.11 material for deleting saves or caches, changing the system clock, disabling security software or using a save editor as a fix. Those actions can introduce new risks and should not be presented as established remedies for this issue. In particular, changing the date cannot extend an event whose schedule is controlled by the game service, and editing a save cannot invent a publisher-announced expedition.
Can I recover rewards from Our Journey Continues?
Rewards that you already earned during Our Journey Continues can be redeemed across saves through the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion aboard the Space Anomaly, according to Hello Games’ expedition announcement. This cross-save redemption is separate from starting the expedition and does not reopen an event whose availability has ended.
If the reward is not listed, verify that you are using the same platform account and that the reward was actually earned, rather than merely viewed in an expedition milestone list. A missing reward entry is a different support case from a missing Terminus tile. The redemption feature is useful when moving between an expedition save and a Normal Mode save, but it does not provide a second way to launch the event.
How do the two legitimate expedition entry routes differ?

Choose the existing-save route if you want to keep that character’s established inventory and progress. Choose the fresh-save route when you want a clean expedition start. The choice is about save management, not a hidden access code. If neither route shows Our Journey Continues, check event timing and platform state before creating multiple new saves.
Should I buy a new copy or a utility to make the expedition appear?
No. A physical copy is relevant only when you do not own the base game. Buying another copy, a PC utility, a subscription, a collectible or merchandise item cannot create an expedition that was not announced or restore an event that is outside its availability window.
If you are a new owner, install the edition for your platform, apply the current update and then check the Terminus. The official purchase selector includes PS5 and physical choices, so a search such as No Man’s Sky PS5 physical edition can help someone who lacks the game; it is not a troubleshooting step for an existing owner. A Switch physical edition is similarly a purchase option, not an access remedy. Stock, price, included version and retailer terms vary and do not alter Hello Games’ event schedule.

The iOS announcement describes the beginning of the game as free to try. “Free to try” does not mean the complete game is unrestricted, that every platform has identical content at the same time, or that every expedition remains permanently available.
Are merchandise and subscriptions related to the fix?
No. Hello Games’ Official Store has anniversary merchandise such as a T-shirt, Atlas cap and desk mat, and the No Man’s Sky x MADRINAS Collector’s Box includes coffee and a shaker. Those are optional fan products, not game licenses, patches or event unlocks. The MADRINAS page describes a preorder with shipping beginning in November 2026; availability can change. Do not treat a store purchase, subscription or collectible as a way to reveal a missing Terminus tile.

Classify the failure in this order so that each check answers one question only:
- Content identity: Are you looking for FORSAKEN itself? If so, stop searching for a FORSAKEN expedition tile and use the 7.10 activity locations.
- Event identity: Are you looking for Our Journey Continues? Its announcement gives an approximate six-week duration, but the exact current state was not verified. Do not treat an absent tile alone as proof of an outage.
- Platform state: Has your edition received 7.10, and if relevant, 7.11? Rollouts can differ by platform.
- Activity prerequisite: For courier missions, verify the corvette and Gravitino Coil. For an absent marker, check Minimal HUD.
- Save route: Confirm whether you are using the Space Anomaly Terminus on an existing save or a fresh expedition save, and remember that both routes depend on event availability.
- Reproducible fault: If a documented feature still crashes or fails after the correct update is installed, report the platform, version, screen and reproduction steps to Hello Games.
This sequence prevents a hidden HUD marker, a missing mission prerequisite and an unavailable time-limited event from being mistaken for the same problem. It also avoids destructive troubleshooting before you know whether the requested content exists under that name.
What is the bottom line for “FORSAKEN not showing up”?
The most common “fix” is correcting the name: FORSAKEN is Hello Games’ 7.10 update, not a confirmed expedition. Install the update for your platform, find its activities in hulks, infested outposts, derelict freighters, digsites and space outposts, and reserve the Expedition Terminus for a genuinely announced expedition such as Our Journey Continues while its availability is confirmed. Only after those checks should you treat a reproducible crash or interaction failure as a support issue.

Hello Games says the fresh-save route for an expedition can later become a Normal Mode save. That conversion concerns the save created for the expedition; it does not turn the FORSAKEN update into a separate expedition.
Does an empty Expedition Terminus prove that Hello Games’ servers are down?
No. An empty tile can mean that the named event is outside its announced window, unavailable on that platform, or simply not the event you expected. The published material does not establish an October 2026 server outage for this case.

Why can I see 7.10 features on one platform but not another?
Hello Games documents platform-specific rollout timing, and its October 29 7.11 notice said Steam was live while other platforms would follow. Compare the build installed on each platform instead of assuming simultaneous releases.
Where can I find the expedition’s earned cosmetics after changing saves?
Check the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion on the Space Anomaly. Hello Games says rewards already earned during Our Journey Continues can be redeemed across saves there, subject to the reward having been earned on the account.

No. That wording appears in older player discussions and is not an official announcement that FORSAKEN is an expedition. Use Hello Games’ dated announcements and release log for current event names and versions.
Do I need a corvette and Gravitino Coil to access all FORSAKEN content?
No. Hello Games specifies those two items for package courier missions from deep-space outposts. They are not general requirements for 7.10, for memento locations or for starting a separately announced expedition.
Can Minimal HUD remove the Expedition Terminus itself?
Minimal HUD can hide non-essential activity markers and other interface elements, but it cannot create or remove the publisher’s event catalog. Disable it temporarily when a mission marker is missing; it will not make an unannounced FORSAKEN expedition appear.
Is FORSAKEN available on Mac because it is available on PC?

Will buying a physical PS5 or Switch copy unlock the event?
