How to replay the puzzle

The New York Times Help Center says the daily game releases at midnight in the player’s timezone. Eligible All Access or Games subscribers can use the puzzle archive, which reaches back to June 12, 2023. Playing an archived puzzle can affect some statistics, but it does not count toward a current or maximum streak. See the official Connections help page for the game and archive details.

Connections asks players to divide 16 words into four groups of four. The Times says each puzzle has one solution, but words may appear to fit more than one category—so a plausible-looking connection is not always the intended one.
