The collaboration arrived in the Season 11 midseason update in July 2024, with themed cosmetic bundles and limited-time shop availability.
Which Overwatch 2 heroes became Transformers?
| Overwatch 2 hero | Transformers character |
|---|---|
| Reinhardt | Optimus Prime |
| Ramattra | Megatron |
| Bastion | Bumblebee |
| Illari | Arcee |
Blizzard framed the event as a battle between the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS. Its Season 11 midseason announcement introduced all four hero-character pairings.
What came in the crossover bundles?
Blizzard presented themed bundles with cosmetics beyond the character skins. The announcement listed items such as highlight intros, victory poses, player icons, and name cards, and described a mega bundle covering the collection. The source does not establish a current price or the present-day contents or availability of any shop listing.
When were the skins available?
Blizzard’s July 9, 2024 patch notes described the crossover skins as limited-time Premium Shop items. That establishes the original offer’s limited-time status, not whether the skins have returned or can be purchased now. Check the current in-game shop for availability and price.

Was this an official Blizzard and Hasbro collaboration?
Yes. Blizzard’s patch notes state: “TRANSFORMERS and its associated characters are trademarks of Hasbro and are used with permission.” The crossover was an officially announced in-game collaboration; that does not establish that physical Transformers toys were sold as Overwatch crossover merchandise.

These product pages document Transformers figures, not Overwatch-branded crossover products, and buying a figure does not unlock an in-game skin.
