What is Meowmere in Palworld?
Meowmere is a Terraria weapon brought into Palworld as the first announced item in the games’ collaboration. In the December 22, 2024, Feybreak v0.4.11 update notice, Pocketpair wrote: “Meowmere, the first “bullet-firing melee weapon” in Palworld, has been added.” This is the update notice’s description, not a quote attributed to a named developer.
The wording establishes that Meowmere is a melee weapon that fires projectiles. The notice does not specify its damage, range, ammunition, crafting recipe, unlock requirements, or how its combat behavior compares with other Palworld weapons, so those details cannot be confirmed from the announcement.
When did Meowmere arrive, and what else was in Feybreak?
Pocketpair’s announcement says Feybreak v0.4.11 had been released and is dated December 22, 2024. A fan-maintained update-history page lists the v0.4.11 release date as December 23, 2024; that is a separate secondary listing, so the announcement date and listed release date should not be conflated.

Meowmere was one part of a broad update rather than a standalone weapon release. Feybreak also added an island, resources including Chromite and Hexolite Quartz, Expeditions and Research mechanics, Predator Pals, bounty NPCs, an Attack Chopper stronghold, a level-cap increase to 60, the Xenolord raid, sphere modules, and additional equipment and weapons.
How did the Palworld–Terraria collaboration continue?
Pocketpair described Meowmere as “only a small taste” of the collaboration and said more content would arrive in 2025. On May 12, 2025, the company announced Tides of Terraria as a major collaboration update, alongside plans for additional Pals and islands. That announcement was advance context; it is not a complete account of the eventual content.
In the same May 12 announcement, Pocketpair reported that Terraria had sold over 60 million copies worldwide. The announcement did not provide a separate date for that cumulative figure, so it should be understood as the number Pocketpair reported then, not as a current sales total.
