You can play some PC games without a dedicated graphics card—but your computer still needs graphics hardware, usually integrated into its processor. Stardew Valley and Celeste are two examples with modest published Windows minimums. Whether either will run well on your PC depends on its specific processor, integrated graphics, memory, and operating system.
What “without a graphics card” really means
In this context, it usually means a computer without a separate, dedicated graphics card. Many CPUs include integrated graphics that can run games, though capability varies by model and generation. A game can still list a graphics requirement: Celeste, for example, names Intel HD 4000 in its Windows minimum specifications.
There is not enough verified information here to responsibly supply ten officially checked recommendations. The two games below are examples whose Steam requirements can be compared with a PC’s specifications; they are not a guarantee of performance on an unspecified computer.

These are the minimum specifications listed on the games’ Steam pages, not independent performance tests. Meeting a listed minimum does not establish that a game will run smoothly on every computer with similar headline specifications.

How to check whether a game fits your PC
- Find your PC’s specifications. Note the exact CPU model, integrated graphics model, installed RAM, and operating system. Windows users can find basic processor and memory details in Settings > System > About; graphics details may be available under Settings > System > Display > Advanced display or in Device Manager under Display adapters.
- Open the game’s current store listing. Check its requirements for your operating system, not just the Windows requirements shown above.
- Compare each requirement individually. Check the CPU, graphics hardware, memory, DirectX version, and storage. Integrated graphics generally use system memory, so a listing’s video-memory requirement may not map neatly to a separate, dedicated card.
- Treat a match as a screening check, not a promise. The actual result depends on the specific PC and settings. The requirements alone do not establish frame rate or smoothness.
Wondering, “Will it run Minecraft?” Apply the same method: check the current requirements for the edition you want, then compare them with your computer’s exact hardware. A general label such as “integrated graphics” is not specific enough to predict compatibility.
What information is needed for a more precise recommendation?
Provide the CPU model, integrated graphics model, amount of RAM, and operating system. For a more useful estimate, also say which game and edition you mean and what resolution or settings you hope to use. Without those details, no one can reliably predict how a particular game will perform on your PC.
