In PEAK, most customizations come from earning badges, while completing ascents unlocks sashes. Check badge progress in the Accolades screen, then equip available options from the Passport’s customization menu at the airport.
How customization unlocks work in PEAK
Badges are the main path to cosmetic rewards. PEAK developer Botten Hanna described cosmetics as unlocking through progression and badges in a Steam Community reply on June 14, 2025: “Hi! You unlock cosmetics as you progress and earn badges throughout the game 🥰” The PEAK Wiki’s cosmetics information likewise describes most cosmetic options as badge rewards.
Completed ascents are a separate route: the wiki says each completed ascent unlocks a sash. The listed customization categories include skin color, accessories, eyes, mouth, clothing or fit, hats, and sashes. The exact reward attached to a particular badge should be checked in your current game rather than inferred from a cosmetic’s name.
How to check progress and equip unlocked items
- Open Accolades to review badge progress and identify challenges you have not completed. The AllThings.How guide, updated August 13, 2026, identifies Accolades as the place to check progress.
- Complete the relevant badge challenge or an ascent. Badges unlock most cosmetic categories; completed ascents unlock sashes, according to the community wiki.
- At the airport, open your Passport and use its customization menu to equip the options that have been unlocked. The Passport is the customization interface described by the PEAK Wiki and the 2026 guide.
Is there a complete list of all PEAK customizations?
AllThings.How reported 64 badges in its guide updated August 13, 2026, but that is a secondary-source count, not an official figure independently confirmed here. A fully verified current list pairing every badge requirement with its cosmetic reward is not established by the sources available here. Use the Accolades and Passport screens in your installed version to confirm exact objectives and rewards before following an older checklist. Steam also maintains a page of community-created PEAK guides, including cosmetics guides; their details may reflect different game versions.
