To start Maiko Oohashi’s Hanged Man Social Link in Persona 3 Reload, bring her a Mad Bull and Weird Takoyaki at Naganaki Shrine, agree to see her again, then return on another day. She is usually available during the day on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Use the Reload-specific dialogue choices below to earn the most affection, and rescue her from Tartarus before November 3 when she goes missing.
How to start Maiko’s Social Link
- Buy a Mad Bull from a vending machine at Iwatodai Station or the dorm.
- Buy Weird Takoyaki from Octopia in Iwatodai Strip Mall.
- Visit Maiko at Naganaki Shrine during the day. Give her both items and agree to see her again. RPG Site lists May 6 as the earliest date this link can begin: RPG Site’s Maiko guide.
- Return on a subsequent day to start the Social Link.
When to find Maiko
Maiko’s regular daytime availability is Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at Naganaki Shrine, according to the GameFAQs walkthrough. Bring a Persona of the Hanged Man Arcana in your current stock when spending time with her; the matching Arcana boosts affection points and can help you rank up in fewer visits. Attis is the max-rank Persona associated with this Arcana.

RPG Site says the Rank 1 choices do not affect progress, and Rank 7 choices likewise have no effect. GameFAQs independently covers the core choices through the later ranks and says any answer works at Rank 10. If your game’s localized wording differs, choose the line with the same intent; these recommendations are for Reload, not a guarantee of identical phrasing in older Persona 3 editions.
