Persona5: The Phantom X is already available on PC through Steam. SEGA’s store page lists June 25, 2025 as its release date, while SteamDB records the release as June 26, 2025 at 02:30:47 UTC. A SteamDB record update dated October 7, 2026 is not, by itself, an announcement of a new PC release.
Is Persona 5: The Phantom X coming to PC?
It has already arrived. SEGA’s Steam listing gives June 25, 2025 as the release date. The third-party tracker SteamDB records June 26, 2025 at 02:30:47 UTC. Those dates differ by one calendar day because one is presented as a store date and the other as a precise UTC timestamp.
The game is listed for Windows PC and is free to play with in-app purchases. The Steam listing names ATLUS, SEGA, and Perfect World as developers and SEGA as publisher.
What does the October 2026 Steam update mean?
SteamDB says the app record was last updated on October 7, 2026 at 02:17:43 UTC. That confirms a recent change to the Steam record, but the timestamp alone does not identify what changed or establish a new release announcement. No available source ties it to a new regional PC launch.

#1 Best Overall
- AN EMOTIONAL REVOLUTION -Lead an uprising of the heart in a brand-new storyline that takes place in Persona’s iconic universe.
- BUILD YOUR DREAM SQUAD - Assemble a team of beloved heroes to fight oppressive armies in thrilling turnbased combat
- DYNAMIC COMBAT - Overthrow your enemies with powerful Personas, an assortment of weapons, and wipe them out with style!
The surrounding Steam community results point to ongoing game content, including Chapter 4 Phase 3 and events scheduled for October and November 2026. That context is consistent with continued updates to an already-live game, not proof that its first PC release is imminent. The specific change behind the SteamDB timestamp remains unclear.
Can you play it on Steam Deck?
SteamDB labels the game’s Steam Deck compatibility as Playable, while noting limitations involving the launcher, controller configuration, and text input. This is a qualified compatibility label, not a guarantee of a seamless experience. The available listing does not establish that any particular peripheral is required.

What the Steam page says about the series
SEGA’s Steam listing uses the promotional line, “The beloved RPG series with over 27 million copies sold finally arrives on PC and mobile!” The page does not give a measurement date or explain the scope of that figure, so it should be understood as undated promotional copy rather than a current, independently verified sales statistic.
