What each game offers
Lies of P: a Pinocchio-inspired soulslike
Lies of P reworks the Pinocchio story as a dark action RPG in the Belle Époque-inspired city of Krat. Sony’s announcement highlights varied weapons, swappable Legion Arms with special abilities, and choices involving lies. It listed the game for both PS5 and PS4.
DayZ: survival against infected and other players
DayZ puts players in a post-apocalyptic survival setting with infected and other survivors. Sony’s description names the Chernarus and Livonia maps and says matches can include up to 60 players. It listed the game for PS4. Sony describes Livonia as a 163 km² map; that is the figure in its game description, not an independently measured map size.

Can you still claim the August 2025 games?
No. Sony’s stated final date to add the August games to a library was September 1, 2025. The lineup was a past monthly member offer, not a permanent entitlement. The historical announcement does not establish whether any of these games are currently available through a PlayStation Plus catalog in a particular region.
