EAC has detected a loaded Windows kernel driver and will not start the game while that driver is active. Why does reinstalling the game usually not fix the warning?
The conflicting driver is normally installed in Windows, by a device package or utility, rather than in the game’s installation folder. Reinstalling the game can replace its files without changing a motherboard-control program, RGB controller, USB package, hardware monitor, or OEM support tool that starts with Windows. That is why the same dialog can return immediately after a clean game reinstall.
A game-file check is still useful later: it can repair damaged EAC components or game files after the driver conflict is addressed. It should not be the first response when the dialog identifies a loaded system driver.

Compare candidates by digital-signature publisher, hardware dependency, whether the software is still installed, and whether removing it will disable lighting, fan curves, macros, diagnostics, or other device features. An old-looking filename is not, by itself, a reason to remove a working driver.

How do I repair Easy Anti-Cheat and verify the game?
