When was Pokémon GO Fashion Week 2025?
Niantic’s official event announcement set Fashion Week for Friday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m. through Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. That event window is over; its timed rewards and encounters are no longer available through this event.

What were the Fashion Week 2025 bonuses?
- 2× Stardust from catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance of receiving Candy XL from catches for Trainers level 31 and up. This increased the chance; it did not guarantee Candy XL.
- An increased chance to encounter Shiny costumed Kirlia in the wild.
- Increased shiny chances for costumed Butterfree, costumed Dragonite, costumed Minccino and Furfrou from Field Research task rewards and raids. An increased chance did not guarantee a shiny encounter.

Costume debut
Fashionable-costume Minccino and Cinccino made their Pokémon GO debuts during Fashion Week 2025.
Wild encounters
More frequent wild encounters included costumed Diglett, Skitty, Buneary and Blitzle, as well as Furfrou and Bruxish. Costumed Kirlia could also appear.

What research and activities were available?
Field Research and Collection Challenge
Event-themed Field Research tasks offered XP, Stardust and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. A catch-focused Collection Challenge rewarded XP and an encounter with costumed Shinx. Event-themed Pokémon could also be entered in Showcases at selected PokéStops.
Optional paid Timed Research
The event-exclusive Timed Research ticket cost US$5.00 or the equivalent pricing tier in local currency. Its listed rewards included 3,500 XP, 3,500 Stardust, an event-themed avatar pose, and encounters including costumed Dragonite, costumed Minccino and Furfrou.

Timed Research expired with the event. Tasks had to be completed and rewards claimed by Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Niantic said tickets could be gifted to Pokémon GO friends at Great Friends level or higher. Purchases were non-refundable subject to applicable law and the stated terms.

The in-game shop offered a Plaid Top and Plaid Pants. Niantic said these digital avatar items would remain available after the event; they are virtual clothing, not physical products.
