Pokémon GO’s Shared Skies Timed Research Part 2 was a one-step checklist with Field Research and Pokémon-catching goals. Its rewards included encounters with Alolan Diglett, Vanillite, Beldum and Alolan Exeggutor, plus items, Stardust and XP. The research expired on August 10, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time, so it can no longer be claimed.

When did Shared Skies Part 2 end?
Players had to complete the research and collect its rewards by August 10, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time, according to Nintendo Wire’s Part 2 guide. That deadline has passed.

Shared Skies was Pokémon GO’s season from June 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. local time, through September 3, 2024, at 10 a.m. local time. The season offered free monthly Timed Research; Part 2 was one installment in that seasonal schedule. See the Shared Skies event listing for the season context.
Why the tasks are no longer available
Niantic explains that “Timed Research is similar to Special Research but disappears after a specified period of time, whereas Special Research remains available until completed.” Because Part 2 was Timed Research and its deadline has elapsed, this checklist is a historical reference rather than an active research route.
