The official Road to Kalos announcement also confirmed the Global dates and hours. Road to Kalos was a separate lead-in event, scheduled for February 23–27, 2026.
Was the Global event free?
Yes. The official event page said all Trainers could participate in the Global event at no cost. It also described additional benefits for optional ticket holders; those benefits were separate from access to the free Global event.

No. The official Global event page listed in-person events in Tainan and Los Angeles for February 20–22, 2026, before the Global weekend. Those dates refer to separate in-person events; the page does not establish their precise daily hours.
