Error 10015 was tied to a specific Pokémon HOME version 2.0 bug in May 2022, and Nintendo says version 2.0.1 fixed it. Error 2-ALZTA-0005 is also listed by Nintendo as a HOME access error, but Nintendo does not give it a specific cause or code-specific remedy. If you see either error now, check that HOME is updated and follow the guidance for the exact code rather than assuming the old 10015 bug explains it.
What the two codes mean
Nintendo groups 2-ALZTA-0005 with errors 8807, 992, 999, and 10015 as Pokémon HOME access errors. Its current support page does not identify a specific cause or fix for 2-ALZTA-0005. Nintendo’s access-error guidance therefore does not establish that a present-day 2-ALZTA-0005 error is the old version 2.0 problem.

Error 10015 had a narrower, documented context: some users encountered it after choosing “Save changes and exit” from the Boxes menu while linking Pokémon HOME to a game during the 2022 version 2.0 incident. Nintendo attributed that incident to a software issue and said an update resolved it. The error by itself was not evidence that an account or Pokémon had been flagged. Nintendo’s notice
What to do if you see an error now
If the code is 2-ALZTA-0005
Make sure Pokémon HOME is updated, then try again. Nintendo’s grouped access-error article does not give a 2-ALZTA-0005-specific cause or direct a user with that code to delete save data. If the access problem continues, use the Pokémon HOME homepage to contact Pokémon support, as Nintendo directs.

If the code is 10015
Update Pokémon HOME. Nintendo says version 2.0.1 fixed the particular error that occurred when selecting “Save changes and exit” while linking HOME to a game. That fix addressed the historical incident; Nintendo’s documentation does not establish that every later appearance of 10015 has the same cause. Nintendo’s Pokémon HOME update history
If the code is 8807
Nintendo specifically recommends deleting Pokémon HOME console save data and launching the software again for error 8807. Nintendo says this does not affect Pokémon already deposited in HOME. This is the 8807 instruction; the support page does not prescribe it for 2-ALZTA-0005. Nintendo’s access-error guidance

How to update Pokémon HOME and confirm the version
Nintendo says software updates are required for online features. An internet-connected console downloads and installs updates automatically, and downloading an update does not erase save data. After updating, check the version shown on the title screen; Nintendo says it displays the newest version number. Nintendo’s update instructions
What happened during the version 2.0 incident
Pokémon HOME 2.0.0, released May 18, 2022, added support for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus, among other features. Nintendo reported that the 10015 issue affected certain users from May 17, 2022 at 11:00 p.m. PDT through May 26, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. PDT, when they chose “Save changes and exit” from the Boxes menu while linking HOME to a game. Nintendo stated: “An update for the game was released on May 26, 2022 to resolve this error.” Its update history lists version 2.0.1 as released May 27, 2022, and identifies it as the fix for that issue.
