The most reliable money-making loop in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is to earn Pokédollars while doing normal fieldwork: catch Pokémon, complete research tasks, gather valuable items, then return to Jubilife Village and submit your Survey Report. Nintendo confirms that Survey Reports can pay extra money. There is no cited, controlled comparison proving one method earns the most Pokédollars per minute, so treat this as a practical routine rather than a guaranteed fastest route.
Use excursions to earn money while progressing
- Choose a field assignment and catch Pokémon. Catching and researching Pokémon advances your Survey work; Gamer Guides also identifies turning in Survey Reports as a way to make money. Nintendo says a report can earn extra money: Nintendo’s catching guide and Gamer Guides’ money guide.
- Gather items as you travel. Pick up valuable finds rather than making a separate trip solely to search for money. Space-Time Distortions can be worthwhile places to collect items while they are active, but the available guide does not establish a guaranteed cash yield from one.
- Return to Jubilife Village and submit your Survey Report. The report is the point where the excursion’s Survey work can bring in extra money. No complete payout formula by story progress is established by the cited sources.
- Review your haul before selling. Sell valuables you do not need, and keep materials that you plan to use for crafting or other purposes.
Which items are worth selling?
iMore lists the following in-game sell prices. These are guide-reported Pokédollar values, not real-world prices.

These prices come from iMore’s 2022-era guide. Shards have a choice attached: sell them for ₽150 each or retain them toward a Star Piece. Whether crafting is worthwhile depends on the recipe’s material cost and whether you need those materials for something else; do not assume every shard should automatically be converted.
Spend less on supplies so your earnings go further
Making money faster is only part of the problem if routine supplies keep consuming it. Nintendo recommends crafting items rather than buying them and healing Pokémon with berries or at base camps instead of using potions. Its official guide also notes that workbench crafting can draw on materials in storage, reducing the need to move materials into your satchel first.

What “fast” can and cannot mean here
The sources support several complementary ways to build your balance—Survey Report earnings, selling valuable finds, and picking up items during exploration—but they do not provide comparable Pokédollars-per-minute measurements. They also do not establish a universal ranking, a complete Survey Report payout formula, or a guaranteed reward schedule for Space-Time Distortions. The sensible approach is to combine money-making with catching, research, and item gathering you would do anyway, then sell only what you can spare.
