Is Pokémon Legends: Z-A free?
No. The official pages list Pokémon Legends: Z-A for purchase and do not identify the full game as a free download, free-to-play release, or subscription benefit. The game launched on October 16, 2025.
Use the official Pokémon Legends: Z-A website to reach the purchase options. Do not treat unofficial download links as legitimate copies; they may also put your device or account at risk.
Where can you buy or download it?
The official purchase page lists Nintendo eShop, My Nintendo Store, and participating retailers. Digital and packaged editions are documented for both the Nintendo Switch version and the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Check the regional store or retailer for the edition, price, and availability where you live.

For a digital copy, buy through Nintendo eShop for your console. For a physical copy, look for the packaged edition at a participating retailer. In either case, confirm whether the listing is for the Switch version, the Switch 2 Edition, or an upgrade pack before buying.

No. The Switch 2 Edition plus Mega Dimension bundle is scheduled for October 29, 2026, after the current availability date of October 8, 2026. The announced bundle puts the game and DLC on one game card, but it should not be mistaken for a currently available purchase.
