Item and shop adjustments
- Players can purchase multiple Berries at once from food stalls.
- After beginning the story of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC, players can buy Berries from the clerk at Nouveau Café’s Truck No. 3.
- The maximum number of Mega Shards a player can carry increased from 999 to 9,999.
Mega Dimension fixes
- In certain pockets of hyperspace, Pokémon could face a direction different from the intended target when using moves.
- Weather could remain sunny without changing.
- Some shiny Pokémon obtained before the Mega Dimension DLC released might not have registered to the Mega Evolution Pokédex, even when their Mega Stones were obtained after becoming available in the DLC.
- Images from unrelated scenes could occasionally appear during missions.
- Players might be unable to complete side mission 188, “Start Special Scanning!”, after earning the maximum number of survey points. Nintendo says affected players should be able to progress after entering and exiting hyperspace.
These notes and the side-mission workaround are from Nintendo of America Support’s update history.
What changed for Mega Shards and Berries?
The clearest inventory change is the tenfold increase in the Mega Shard limit: the cap is now 9,999 rather than 999. For Berries, the update adds multi-item purchases at food stalls and, once the Mega Dimension story has begun, a purchase option from the clerk at Nouveau Café’s Truck No. 3.

Is Version 2.0.1 still the latest update?
No. Nintendo of America’s support page lists Version 2.0.2, released March 18, 2026, as the latest update. Nintendo describes that version only as fixing “Several issues have been fixed”; the page does not provide further details there. Version 2.0.1 is dated January 21, 2026, on that American support page. Nintendo’s Pokémon Legends: Z-A page gives January 22 for Version 2.0.1, so the displayed release date differs by region.
