There is no single best Pokémon TCG collection tracker for everyone. Collectr is a strong fit if you want to track multiple trading card games, collection values, and raw, graded, or sealed items. Pokellector focuses on browsing English and Japanese Pokémon sets and keeping an owned-card checklist. A September 2026 comparison of French-market apps also highlights PokéItem, PokéCardex, and Dex for region-specific features such as French-language support, offline access, and binder-page scanning.
Choose based on how you collect, and check that an app covers your sets, languages, variants, and item types before entering a large collection.

What do you want the app to track?
Start with your main task: completing sets, cataloguing a collection, or monitoring estimated values. These are related jobs, but an app built around one may not be the best choice for another.
- For set completion: Look for set-by-set browsing, an owned-card checklist, and reliable coverage of the languages and variants you collect.
- For a broader portfolio: Check whether the app can group collections, handle more than Pokémon, and record raw cards, graded cards, and sealed products.
- For value tracking: Find out which market sources and currencies it uses, whether prices distinguish language and condition, and whether it offers price history.
- For quick cataloguing: Compare camera scanning, bulk entry, scan limits, and support for scanning cards while they are in binder pages.
A price displayed in an app is an estimate, not a guaranteed sale price. The sources available for this comparison do not establish which tracker has the most accurate prices.

How do the main Pokémon card tracker apps differ?
The table compares publisher and app-listing descriptions, not hands-on testing. Features, pricing, and availability can change; check the app’s current listing in your country before relying on a detail.

Pokellector’s listing describes English and Japanese set browsing, card search, scanning, and owned-card management. That makes it a natural option to investigate if your priority is knowing which cards you have from a set. Confirm the current subscription terms and that the sets and variants you collect appear in your regional version.

Investigate regional options if language or offline access matters
If you are in France or collect cards in languages beyond English and Japanese, the September 2026 comparison offers useful leads: it reports French support and binder-page scanning in beta for PokéItem, offline operation and French card images for PokéCardex, and deck-building and friends features for Dex. These are market-specific listing observations, so they are not a substitute for checking your local app store.
What should you check before committing your collection?
- Check catalog coverage. Search for cards from several of your actual sets, including a promo, alternate variant, or less common language if relevant. Confirm that the app’s entry matches the card you own.
- Check the inventory fields. Verify support for quantities, condition, language, graded cards, sealed products, and separate collections wherever those details matter to you.
- Try the capture workflow. Find out whether camera scanning is available, whether there are scan limits, and whether entry works for cards in binder pages. Do not assume a scan identifies every variant correctly.
- Understand the price estimate. Look for its market sources, currency, language and condition detail, history, and update cadence. Treat the displayed amount as an estimate rather than a promise of what a card will sell for.
- Check access and portability. Confirm iOS, Android, or web availability for your region, whether the app works offline if you need that, and whether export is available on the free or paid tier.
- Review current costs and privacy terms. Subscription features and regional prices can change. Read the current app-store listing and privacy policy before paying or uploading collection or account information.
A useful trial is to enter a small sample first: an older card, a recent card, a promo or variant, and any graded or sealed item central to your collection. This helps reveal whether the catalog and tracking fields fit your real inventory before you spend time adding everything.

Can you track a collection without an app?
Yes. A physical binder can organize cards, and a printed checklist can mark what you own. The Pokémon Company International provides an official Platinum card-list PDF whose instruction says, “Use the check boxes below to keep track of your Pokémon TCG cards!” Open the official checklist PDF. A checklist is set-specific; it does not replace a searchable, multi-set inventory or provide the value-tracking features described by Collectr.
