PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Update 37.2 added a G-DRAGON collaboration, reworked Minas Generales on Miramar, and expanded several mode-specific map pools. Its “new maps” were Shooting Range and Boatyard for Team Deathmatch—not a new full-size Battle Royale map. KRAFTON announced the update on September 9, 2025, with PC maintenance listed for September 10 and console maintenance for September 18.
What changed in PUBG Update 37.2?
Update 37.2 combined a limited-time music collaboration with map and gameplay changes. The collaboration added themed locations and visuals; map changes focused on a Miramar redesign and additional maps in Arcade modes. Players also gained new ways to move deathboxes and interact with doors, while gas tanks and C4 received gameplay adjustments.
KRAFTON’s official Update 37.2 patch notes contain the full change list. The notes describe the collaboration’s world features as lasting until the next update, so they do not establish whether those features remain available in 2026.
What were the new maps in PUBG 37.2?
The phrase “new maps” refers to mode-specific additions, not a new large-scale Battle Royale destination.

The changes broadened the options in these modes, but the patch notes did not list a new full-size Battle Royale map.
What was the G-DRAGON collaboration?
The collaboration placed G-DRAGON-themed features around PUBG maps. On Miramar, Truck Stop was decorated with a stage where players could perform to G-DRAGON’s music. The map also received themed gas stations and fan rooms, including a turntable. Care Packages, Blue Chip Towers and planes received collaboration visuals on other maps.

Some starting islands on Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, Taego, Deston and Rondo gained emote stages. Players could perform a G-DRAGON emote on stage, displaying its corresponding album image, or watch from below using the Interaction key. Only G-DRAGON emotes could be used on the stage. The stages were available from the start of a match until players boarded the plane, in Normal Match, Ranked and Casual Mode.
The patch notes said the collaboration’s world features would be available until the next update. That historical schedule does not confirm current availability.

What changed at Minas Generales on Miramar?
KRAFTON revised the existing Minas Generales location rather than introducing another map. The work changed its layout, loot locations, buildings and terrain, and added cover to address advantages from high ground. The update also improved older buildings and interior lighting.
Other changes associated with the relevant spawn areas included vending machines and destructible pots. Inflatable Boats received fixed spawn locations, with the total number of boats unchanged. The development team described the goal as updating “the overall layout, loot spots, and terrain.”

What gameplay changes did Update 37.2 add?
Moveable deathboxes
Players could reposition deathboxes using the Secondary Interaction key. Carrying a box restricted item use and many interactions. The box dropped automatically after certain state changes, and attacks on a carried box damaged the player.
Door interactions
Players could pull doors open or closed with the Secondary Interaction key. The existing Open Door feature was renamed Push Door.

Destructible gas tanks
Miramar and Taego gained destructible gas tanks. Destroying a tank created a temporary smoke cloud, and vehicles could destroy tanks as well. The feature was excluded from Survivors Left Behind and Hungers Left Behind.
C4 adjustments
The update reduced C4 damage over distance and made its beeping clearer and audible from farther away. KRAFTON’s patch notes put the increase in audible range at about 25%. Explosive damage could also disable an active C4 timer.
Console optimization
The patch included console memory optimization intended to help reduce crash issues. The notes describe an effort to reduce crashes, not a guarantee that crashes would be eliminated.
How did Update 37.2 affect map rotations?
KRAFTON’s map-service report measured map preference from June 25 through August 18, 2025, using factors including playtime, match count, select rate and leave rate. Rotation schedules varied by region and platform. To increase exposure to the collaboration, Miramar received an “Etc.” slot in Weeks 1–3 when it was not already in a Fixed or Favored slot. The report also described doubled matchmaking probability for Miramar during the first three weeks in random-map regions; on console, that increase applied only for the first two weeks.
