How Quordle works
You solve four five-letter words at the same time, with nine guesses to find all four. A green tile marks a letter in the correct position; a yellow tile means the letter is in the answer but in a different position.

MUNCH can be hard to narrow down once you have the “-UNCH” pattern, since PUNCH, LUNCH, HUNCH, and BUNCH are also possible words. That is a solving observation from TechRadar’s author, not a measured rating of how difficult the puzzle was for players.
Why the puzzle date can vary
TechRadar’s May 10, 2025 article explains that the daily puzzle arrives at midnight in each player’s time zone. Someone may therefore see this same puzzle on a different calendar date. The answers above are for the archived May 11 puzzle, not a claim that the live game currently shows those words.
