Is R.E.P.O. available on Xbox?
No. The Semiwork game R.E.P.O. has no documented Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S edition as of October 19, 2026. What version can you play now?
Windows PC through Steam
The released version is the Windows PC edition distributed through Steam. Early Access began on February 26, 2025. Early Access means the game is playable, but development and the feature set can continue to change before the planned 1.0 release. Do not assume that a future console build will launch at the same stage or contain exactly the same features.

A current secondary listing reports a Steam price of $9.99. That figure is a reported PC price, not an Xbox price, and storefront prices can change by region, tax, sale, or date. Open the live Steam page before paying and confirm the currency and final checkout total for your country.
Online co-op party size
R.E.P.O. supports online co-op for up to six players: one host and five friends. Everyone joining an online session needs access to a Windows PC that meets the live Steam requirements and a copy of the game. An Xbox console cannot join that session as an Xbox player because there is no Xbox build.
The six-player figure describes the documented online party limit, not a promise that every future platform version will use the same limit. If Semiwork later announces a console edition, confirm its multiplayer rules and any cross-platform restrictions separately.

There is no documented Xbox Game Pass listing for R.E.P.O. A current subscription tracker lists it as not included in Xbox Game Pass for either Xbox consoles or PC. Because the game has no Xbox Store SKU in the available record, there is no console Game Pass download to claim.

Subscription catalogs are changeable, and third-party trackers can lag behind an official catalog update. For a definitive check, search the Xbox app or the official Xbox Game Pass catalog for the exact title and verify that the product is published by the expected developer. A search result for a similarly named game is not evidence that R.E.P.O. is included.
Do not buy Game Pass solely because you expect it to provide access to R.E.P.O. At present, an Xbox subscription does not substitute for the missing Xbox edition, and the Windows PC Steam release is a separate purchase from any Xbox catalog entitlement.
How much does R.E.P.O. cost?
Current PC price
The only reported current price is $9.99 on Steam, cited by a 2026 secondary review. Treat it as a snapshot of the Windows PC listing rather than a guaranteed permanent price. Sales, regional pricing, VAT or other taxes, and future changes during Early Access can alter the amount shown at checkout.
Xbox price
There is no Xbox price because no Xbox product has been documented. Any article, video, or store result claiming a confirmed Xbox price without an official Xbox Store page or a Semiwork announcement is speculation. A PC price cannot be used to predict the eventual console price: Microsoft storefront fees, regional pricing, launch discounts, and edition contents could all differ.

What you need for the PC purchase
- A Windows PC capable of running the current Steam build.
- A Steam account and the ability to purchase the game in your region.
- A separate copy for each person who wants to join online co-op.
- A stable online connection for the host and all joining players.
The available information does not establish a free-to-play model, a console cross-buy entitlement, or a free upgrade from PC to a future Xbox release.
Which R.E.P.O. edition should you buy?
Xbox Standard, Deluxe, or physical editions
No Xbox Standard or Deluxe edition, physical-disc release, or Xbox Play Anywhere edition is documented. There is therefore no Xbox package to compare and no confirmed bonus content, disc, manual, or premium bundle to choose between.

If you can play on Windows now
The Steam Early Access release is the only documented way to buy the game. It is the practical choice for a group that already has compatible Windows PCs and wants to play together now. Before checkout, make sure your friends are also willing to buy their own copies and accept the possibility that Early Access content and requirements may change.

Wait for an official Xbox SKU. There is no legitimate Xbox purchase to make today, and buying a similarly titled product will not provide the Semiwork game. Waiting also avoids paying twice if a later Xbox edition has different content, a launch discount, or a cross-buy policy that is not available for the Steam version.

What has Semiwork said about a console release?
A current platform guide reproduces this response from Semiwork to a console question: “That is the current plan, but we won’t fully dig into it until we are on the homestretch and working on the 1.0 update.”
This is a general intention, not a confirmed Xbox announcement. It does not establish that Xbox One is supported, that Series X|S is supported, when a port will arrive, how much it will cost, which edition will launch, or whether the game will enter Game Pass. It also says nothing about cross-play, cross-save, Play Anywhere, achievements, physical media, or cloud saves.
“Working on the 1.0 update” should not be read as a promised console launch window. Until Semiwork or Microsoft publishes an Xbox product page, the platform, date, price, and feature list remain unconfirmed.
Can Xbox and PC players play together?
Not currently. Since there is no Xbox version, there is no Xbox-to-PC cross-play session for R.E.P.O. The existing online co-op is the Windows Steam release, with up to six players using that PC version.

A future Xbox announcement would need to confirm cross-play explicitly. Cross-platform multiplayer is not automatic: a console port may launch with separate matchmaking, delayed feature parity, or no cross-play at all. The same applies to progression. A Microsoft account connection or a shared game title does not by itself prove that saves transfer between Steam and Xbox.

How to check for a real Xbox announcement
- Look for a new Xbox Store product page whose title, developer, and publisher identify the Semiwork game.
- Check Semiwork’s official announcement for a platform list, release date, and whether the listing covers Xbox One, Series X|S, or both.
- Read the store page’s edition section for Standard or Deluxe contents, pricing, and any physical-release information.
- Confirm the multiplayer section: it should state whether Xbox players can play with PC players and which PC storefronts are supported.
- Check the Game Pass catalog separately rather than assuming an Xbox launch is included in the subscription.
- Review save-transfer and Play Anywhere language before buying a second copy for another platform.
A genuine listing should provide more than a retailer keyword, a placeholder page, or a rumor. If the page does not name the developer and platform clearly, do not use it as evidence of an Xbox release.
Common buying mistakes
- Confusing a title match with the official game: “R.E.P.O.” and “R.E.P.O. Horror” can describe unrelated listings. Verify the developer and publisher.
- Assuming the PC price is an Xbox price: the reported $9.99 figure applies to the Steam listing and may not predict console pricing.
- Assuming Game Pass inclusion from a search snippet: confirm the exact catalog entry and platform in the Xbox app or official catalog.
- Buying a Steam copy for an Xbox-only friend: Steam ownership does not create an Xbox entitlement, and no cross-buy policy is documented.
- Expecting cross-play because the game is multiplayer: the current six-player co-op documentation applies to the PC release; Xbox compatibility is unannounced.
- Interpreting a console intention as a date: Semiwork’s statement gives no launch window, price, edition, or feature commitment.

Buy nothing yet. There is no official Xbox edition, Game Pass listing, or Xbox price to act on. Wait for a Semiwork announcement and an Xbox Store SKU.
Windows PC player with a regular group
The Steam Early Access release is available now. The reported price is $9.99, and online sessions support up to six players, but each participant needs a Windows PC and a copy. Verify the live price and system requirements before purchase.
Player deciding whether to wait for 1.0
Waiting may make sense if you specifically want a finished build, a console edition, or confirmed cross-platform features. The current console statement does not provide a schedule, so there is no reliable date to plan around.
