A normal Windows installation maintains the file as a protected system component. The usual 64-bit layout is:

Those folder names are counterintuitive: SysWOW64 contains 32-bit system files. Do not choose a replacement based only on the folder name. Windows servicing knows which architecture, build, language, and component version belongs on the computer.

There is no legitimate Microsoft radarrs.dll installer or standalone redistributable. The correct source is Windows Update, the Windows component store, or matching Windows installation media.

These are standard Windows loader message patterns. They do not prove that a particular game or application officially depends on radarrs.dll.
Fix 1: Install Windows updates and restart
Windows Update is the safest way to obtain corrected protected system files.

- Select Windows Update.
- On Windows 10, select Update & Security, then Windows Update.
- Select Check for updates.
- Install all available updates.
- Restart the computer, even if Windows does not immediately require it.
- Try the program or action that produced the error again.
If Windows Update fails, note the error code and continue with the component repair below. Do not search for that code alongside a DLL download.
Fix 2: Repair Windows with DISM and SFC
DISM repairs the Windows component store. SFC then uses that repaired source to verify and restore protected system files. Run DISM first.
Open an elevated Command Prompt
- Open the Start menu.
- Type Command Prompt.
- Right-click Command Prompt.
- Select Run as administrator.
- Select Yes if User Account Control asks for permission.
Run this command and wait for it to finish:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Then run:
sfc /scannow
The scan can take some time. Do not close the window while either operation is running.
Understand the result
If SFC reports that it did not find any integrity violations, Windows did not find a damaged protected file. The message may be stale, caused by a missing dependency, or generated by a non-system copy used by an application.
If SFC reports that it found corrupt files and successfully repaired them, restart Windows and test again.
If SFC reports that it could not repair some files, restart the computer and run SFC once more. If it still fails, continue to the repair-source section.

Fix 3: Check Windows Security quarantine
Microsoft Defender may have quarantined a file after a false positive or after detecting a modified copy.
- Open the Start menu.
- Type Windows Security and open it.
- Select Virus & threat protection.
- Select Protection history.
- Review recent detections.
- Open any detection that refers to
radarrs.dll. - Check the reported path, threat name, and action.
Do not restore a file merely because its filename is radarrs.dll. A genuine system copy should normally be in a Windows system directory and have a valid Microsoft digital signature.
Restore or allow the file only when you are confident that:
- the path is the expected Windows system path;
- the file is digitally signed by Microsoft;
- the detection is a false positive; and
- the file was not introduced by an installer, crack, temporary folder, or download.
Microsoft warns that restoring a quarantined threat can cause Defender to detect it again. Review the Protection History guidance before allowing anything.
If the path is unfamiliar or the signature is missing, leave the file quarantined and run a full scan:
- Open Windows Security.
- Select Virus & threat protection.
- Select Scan options.
- Choose Full scan.
- Select Scan now.
Do not disable antivirus protection just to copy a DLL.
Fix 4: Check the file path and digital signature
If a copy exists, verify it before assuming it is the correct one.
- Open File Explorer.
- Browse to
C:WindowsSystem32. - Search for
radarrs.dll. - If present, right-click it and select Properties.
- Open the Digital Signatures tab.
- Select the Microsoft signature and choose Details.
- Confirm that Windows reports the signature as valid.
On 64-bit Windows, also check C:WindowsSysWOW64 when the error comes from a 32-bit application. Do not copy the file between these folders. A 32-bit and 64-bit DLL are not interchangeable, and a file from another Windows build may be incompatible even if its name matches.

If the file is in a download folder, temporary folder, crack folder, or an unfamiliar application directory, treat that copy as suspicious. Delete or quarantine it only after considering whether the location belongs to an installed application, then run Defender and repair Windows from its official sources.
Fix 5: Investigate a dependency or application-specific failure
“The specified module could not be found” does not always mean that radarrs.dll itself is missing. Windows may have found the named file but failed to load one of its dependencies.
Known Windows dependencies associated with this component include system libraries such as ntdll.dll, KERNEL32.dll, wdi.dll, wer.dll, and RstrtMgr.dll. The practical fix is still Windows servicing, not downloading each dependency separately.

If only one application reports the error:
- Repair Windows with DISM and SFC.
- Restart Windows.
- Open Settings.
- Select Apps.
- Select Installed apps on Windows 11, or Apps & features on Windows 10.
- Select the affected application.
- Choose Advanced options, if available.
- Select Repair. If that does not help, select Reset only if you understand that it may remove application data.
- If neither option exists, uninstall the application.
- Restart Windows.
- Reinstall it from the developer’s official installer.
Do not assume that the application needs Visual C++, DirectX, or .NET simply because a DLL message appears. radarrs.dll is a Windows component, not one of those runtime packages. Install an additional runtime only when the application’s own official documentation identifies it as a requirement.

Fix 6: Recheck drivers only when broader system symptoms point there
A graphics, storage, or chipset driver is not a normal source of radarrs.dll. Consider driver repair only if the DLL message started alongside crashes, device failures, update problems, or hardware changes.
To inspect drivers:
- Right-click the Start button.
- Select Device Manager.
- Expand the relevant category, such as Display adapters, Storage controllers, or System devices.
- Right-click the affected device.
- Select Properties.
- Open the Driver tab.
- Select Update Driver and choose Search automatically for drivers.
- If the issue began after a recent update, select Roll Back Driver, when available.
- Restart Windows.
For a clean reinstall, download the driver only from the device manufacturer or Windows Update, uninstall the device from Device Manager when appropriate, restart, and install the verified package.

If DISM says that source files could not be found, use Windows installation media that matches the installed edition, build, language, and architecture as closely as possible.

Replace C:RepairSourceWindows with the actual Windows folder from the mounted, matching installation source.
Do not use an arbitrary Windows image. A mismatched source can produce version or edition errors and may not repair the component correctly. Microsoft explains the DISM repair-source process.
After DISM completes, run:
sfc /scannow
Then restart and test again.
Fix 8: Escalate to System Restore or an in-place repair
Use System Restore when the problem began after a recent update, driver installation, or system change and a restore point exists.
- Press Windows + R.
- Type
rstrui.exe. - Press Enter.
- Select Next.
- Choose a restore point dated before the error began.
- Select Next, then Finish.
- Allow Windows to restart.
System Restore does not normally remove personal documents, but it can remove recently installed applications, drivers, and updates.
If Windows remains damaged, use an in-place repair installation with official Windows installation media. Start setup.exe from within Windows and choose the option to keep personal files and applications. Confirm the selected option carefully before proceeding, and back up important data first.
A clean installation is the final measure when Windows cannot be repaired and an in-place repair is unavailable or unsuccessful. Back up personal files, application credentials, and recovery keys before erasing the installation.
If repairs repeatedly fail, investigate disk health and review CBS.log and DISM logs. Persistent corruption can indicate storage problems rather than a single missing DLL.
Why regsvr32 usually does not help
Do not run:
regsvr32 radarrs.dll
regsvr32 is intended for DLLs that expose registration entry points such as DllRegisterServer, commonly ActiveX or COM components. radarrs.dll is a Windows diagnostic and resource component, not a DLL intended for manual registration.

Why downloading or copying the DLL is unsafe
Random DLL download sites can provide malware, the wrong Windows build, the wrong architecture, an altered file, or an incomplete set of dependencies. Even a genuine-looking copy may not repair the component store or Windows servicing metadata.
Do not copy radarrs.dll from another PC unless you are performing advanced recovery with a verified matching source and have confirmed the Windows build, architecture, language, Microsoft signature, and file integrity. For ordinary repairs, use Windows Update, DISM, SFC, matching installation media, System Restore, or an in-place repair.
