The item therefore combines enemy gathering with a temporary defensive benefit. That description alone does not establish how much it improves performance in a particular activity or build.
Why do older guides describe a different effect?
Raiment’s documented effect has changed. Blizzard’s Patch 2.5 notes, published December 11, 2025, describe an earlier version that pulled Close enemies inward after Teleport and gave Teleport a 10–30% chance to reset for each enemy it killed. That reset chance is historical, not the effect shown in the current item listing.

The latest official patch context available here is Patch 3.2.2, dated September 30, 2026. Those notes do not list a Raiment-specific change; the item listing updated six days later is the current source for its stated effect.
How should you evaluate it for a build?
Consider what your chest slot gives up as well as Raiment’s Teleport interaction. Compare the pull and temporary Damage Reduction against the other chest’s affixes, aspect, and effect in the context of your actual build. The available sources do not provide a tested comparison, so they do not support calling Raiment best-in-slot or assigning it a measured damage or survivability advantage.

Where does Raiment of the Infinite drop?
A complete current acquisition route is not established by the available sources. Blizzard’s Patch 2.2 notes recorded that Raiment was removed from Lord Zir’s target-farming pool at that time. That historical change does not establish today’s drop sources, and it is not evidence that Lord Zir is a current target farm for the item.
