If Rainbow Six Siege time-limited challenges are missing or their progress is not updating, open Ubisoft Connect, check the challenge’s status and collection state, then verify that Siege is linked to the Ubisoft account you expect. Ubisoft’s published guidance explains where to find and claim challenges and how progress is shared across platforms; it does not identify the cause of an individual player’s problem or confirm a live outage.
Where to find Siege time-limited challenges
Open Ubisoft Connect from the Siege menu, the game page, or the Ubisoft Connect overlay. Go to Challenges, then select Time-Limited. On Ubisoft Connect PC, you can also open the Siege game page or overlay and choose its Challenges section. Ubisoft describes these routes in its Ubisoft Connect challenges and rewards help article.
What to check when a challenge is missing or stuck
- Open the right category. In Ubisoft Connect, choose Challenges and then Time-Limited. Confirm that you are looking at the Siege challenge list.
- Check its displayed status and time window. Use the status or timer shown in the client to determine whether the challenge is available. The official sources do not provide a current Siege challenge schedule.
- Collect a completed challenge. Ubisoft says completed challenges must be collected from the Time-Limited or Core tab. If the challenge is complete, select Collect in the Time-Limited tab.
- Verify your Ubisoft account linkage. Make sure the platform is connected to the Ubisoft account where you expect your Siege progression. Ubisoft says cross-progression data is saved to the Ubisoft account.
- Compare another linked platform, if available. Check the same Ubisoft account and challenge on the other platform, including its visibility, completion state, and whether the reward has been collected. This comparison can help narrow down what you see, but Ubisoft’s published rules do not establish that every client behaves identically.
Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege cross-platform synchronization guidance says time-limited challenge progression is shared across platforms going forward, and completed challenges can be claimed from anywhere.
If the challenge still does not work
If the challenge is visible and active but progress remains unchanged, or it is missing after you have checked the correct account, contact Ubisoft Support with details that can help identify the case:

- The challenge name and what its status or timer displays
- Whether progress changes after a match
- Whether the challenge appears on another linked platform, and whether it is completed or collected there
- Any error message shown in the client
These details are useful for reporting the issue, not a guaranteed recovery procedure. The official sources cited here do not confirm a current service outage or diagnose a particular player’s missing challenge.

Ubisoft’s synchronization article, dated 22 November 2022, describes a transition rule from before crossplay went live: unclaimed time-limited challenges had to be claimed on each platform, and those unclaimed challenges would be lost once crossplay went live. The same article says that going forward, progression is shared and completed challenges can be claimed from anywhere. That historical rule should not be treated as a general explanation for a newly missing challenge today.
