What did the Siege X leak report show?
Insider Gaming’s Sam Sepiol reported on March 11, 2025, that The Game Post had shared details based on leaks from the Rainbow Six Leaks Discord server. Insider Gaming said the images appeared to come from an early build and warned that Ubisoft had not confirmed the information and that it could change before release. Insider Gaming’s report preceded Ubisoft’s Siege X showcase, planned for March 13.
- Interface: The report described an “Operation Prep Phase” label in the screen’s right-hand corner, a battle pass progression tracker and a challenge system.
- Cosmetic: It said one image showed Valkyrie’s Paragon Elite skin alongside a matching Black Eye camera skin.
- Maps: It described Chalet and Border as appearing revamped, with lighting enhancements.
These are descriptions of what the report said the images showed. Ubisoft’s official material reviewed here does not independently verify those exact screens, the named cosmetics or the specific Chalet and Border lighting changes.
Which leaked details did Ubisoft later confirm?
Ubisoft’s March 2025 showcase confirmed a broader Siege X launch plan: the new Dual Front 6v6 mode, core-game upgrades, visual enhancements, an audio overhaul, rappel upgrades, player-protection work and free access. Ubisoft also said five maps would be modernized at launch. Those announcements establish the planned scope of Siege X, but they do not authenticate each detail in the March 11 leak. Ubisoft’s current roadmap marks the Siege X launch features as released. It describes a refreshed menu interface that mixes classic Siege colors with easier-to-navigate menus, alongside new art, textures, animations and layouts intended to give the game a tactical special-operations tone. That confirms a refreshed UI and substantial launch updates—not that every leaked UI element appeared exactly as pictured. The reviewed official pages do not settle whether the specific Valkyrie Paragon Elite and matching Black Eye camera cosmetics from the report were released as shown.

Siege X is now live: access and timing
Siege X launched on June 10, 2025. Ubisoft said it was a free update for existing owners and that players would keep their content and progression. Ubisoft’s June 10 launch announcement
Ubisoft’s launch notice said Free Access includes Quick Match, Unranked and Dual Front, with access to a selection of Operators. Ranked, Siege Cup, additional Operators and cosmetics require payment to unlock. Ubisoft also lists Ubisoft+ Premium as an access route; availability and terms should be checked with Ubisoft for a player’s region and account.
