What did Operation Deadly Omen add?
Deimos and his tracking ability
The season introduced Deimos, an attacker whose DeathMARK Tracker marks a chosen opponent. The target can also see Deimos’ location while the ability is active. Ubisoft lists the AK-74M and M590A1 as his primary weapon options, the .44 Vendetta as his sidearm, and Frag Grenades or a Hard Breach Charge as gadget choices. See Ubisoft’s season archive for the season overview.
Shield and aiming changes
Y9S1 removed shield hip fire, added the ability to sprint while carrying a shield, and let shield operators push through full-health barricades. Ubisoft also described new shield animations and suppression effects. The update lengthened the transition from hip fire to aiming down sights and revised grips, under-barrel attachments, and sight magnifications.
